I didn’t vote for or watch the anime awards personally because I hadn’t watched most of the nominees. HOWEVER, I did notice it was only the Hidden Inventory arc and I was sure many other shows would’ve taken awards over JJK based on what I’d heard about them. I’ve since finished Mob Psycho and… yeah this was definitely a robbery. Guess this means I gotta start up Vinland Saga soon tho 👀 Can’t wait to see what else you cook up during your break 💯
Im gonna be real with you on this. anime is usually seen by teens and younger adults who havent lived enough to know the meaning behind Vinland Saga. so of course they would be attracted to the style of JJK or Chainsawman. its escapism they are attracted to. give them time. and see which one lasts the battle of longevity.

The younger fans as I was myself before, just valued high flying action and dark stories with tons of twists which JJK perfectly captures
Akira left a legacy behind, he will truly be missed but I’m sure he’d want you to just keep going. The amount of anime he influenced and inspiration he built in DBZ alone is just proof of that. Just keep going 🙏
I love jujustu kaisen so so much, I Love the artstlye, characters, action, And i think it deserved all the awards it got, But PLEASE at least add vinland saga, I havent even watched it and i think it was the anime just deserved it, Attack on titan too, It looked really good, Although jujustu kaisen is a pheonomonail anime i would have loved to see others win some awards, Overall, Wish they let other awards win even though ima huge fan to jjk and its works.
Exactly!!!!! A perfect example is the Oscar’s, Oppenheimer won most stuff but the other movies still got recognition like Godzilla minus one in VFX and poor things in multiple categories. The crunchy roll awards needs to adjust in order to recognize more VERY deserving shows.
Jjk was objectively better ngl. Dont get me wrong mob psycho and vinland saga were really good but s2 of jjk pushed the envelope of what shonen is supposed to be. I wasnt really a big fan of jjk until the second season snd by god the hidden inventory arc is beautiful not just in animation but the score, the story, its got it all. I liked vinland saga but ngl ive forgotten most of what happened in the 2nd season up to Thorfin getting punched up a shit tonne to talk to the dickhead king dude he spent most the 1st season with. Jjk was just better sorry 🤷♂️
Id honestly give you the full season of JJK over Vinland saga but the anime awards only counted the hidden inventory arc which is just 5 episodes, and I really can’t put that over the entire 2nd season of Vinland. Thorfinn went from a traumatized slave to a peaceful activist and finally realized the words his dad tried to teach him in episode 4, there were also such emotional side stories like eniars, gardars, arnheid and more. It was just such a complete season and to lose to a half of a season, given I loved the hidden Inventory arc, but still idk.
I don’t think people are surprised in terms of it not being good, it’s more so the fact that only half of the season counted for the awards since it doesn’t call fall anime which the second half of JJK fell into (the shibuya arc)
plz it's not always the popularity contest...fans voted for all the categories and jjk actually deserved many of them..like character design,director,best action...and the anime of the year lol
Demon slayer winning animation of the year again in arguably its worst season yet just proves the popularity contest imo, and again the fact it was only five episodes of JJK over the full season of Vinland, really hard to see that imo
@@AntiKashi think demon slayer s3 animation was great...and jjk, involving or not involving the rest of the s2 along with the first 5 eps doesn't really matter bcuz jjk as a whole has been a great show of all times..imo too ....ofc there was a reason for choosing those 5 eps over the whole viland saga season..but too bad

i like vinland so much, it does not have that much hype because it does not have a lot of anime shows
