    I seriously have to thank whoever set up the audio recording in these videos. The exhaust note and supercharger whine is crystal clear through my headphones and the bass is rich as if I was actually driving. I hope someone at the head of the channel sees this, because keep up the good work.

    Screw those that think a manual transmission is old fashioned, manual is the only way to go for a car like this.

      Dukiny Gaming its not all about the fastest shift, driving feeling, fun is something to, and you can do much more with a manual

    • @funky3ddy
      @funky3ddy 10 лет назад +28

      WikHellfire - PlaystationShare
      Yup, with manual you have flexibility no automatic will ever be able to provide. Besides, automatic will never know what corner is coming up, and paddles are not really that great.
      Also, if your car breaks, you can tow manual for as long as you want. If your starter breaks, you can start your car by pushing. If your clutch fork breaks (you can't disengage engine from transmission) and you are in emergency situation and must keep going, you can switch gears without the clutch (warning, do this only if you know what's actually happening inside of your car and why and when you can do this, one false move and gears will grind and your gearbox will spit out its teeth). Manual is cheaper to service (burned clutches frictional pads? You can easily replace 'em on cheap), and car costs cheaper (now when demand for manuals is lower it's not always the case, but with Hellcat you save about $3,000 when you buy a manual). In winter time, especially if you're stuck, manual is a killer. Also, with manual, if you're running out of gas in emergency situation, when you are going downhill, you can just pop neutral and turn the engine off. So manual is more practical, more durable, cheaper to service, and makes you feel in control. Now in city environment, with all the stop signs, traffic lights, traffic jams automatic rulez, but if you're an experienced driver, you'll have no issues switching gears manually, it's an annoyance only for new folks :)

      Blowers are sexy sounding and they pull really hard really low. Nothing beats a blown car. I know turbos are more powerful and more efficient and the lag problem is mostly going away, but I still find s/c more controllable and more linear.

I also own a 2011 challenger srt8 automatic. Sure manual is fun, but for drag racing, anyone with experience knows the new automatic trannys will outshift and outrun a manual 99% of the time. I liked the 1st person perspective simple get-in-and-drive-it video. Thank you. What were the last 2+ minutes of the video for though? At the point you came up behind the minivan and slow moving traffic, you could have cut it off right there. I watched to the end figuring you must have made it 6:30 instead of 4 minute because something amazing happened at the end. Nope. :(

    Could you get your hands on an E39 M5? Its a long shot, but I'm sure that would supply a great video, as it sounds and drives insanely good.

    From what I can see the car is 6 spd. manual. The ride didn't look punishing that would be very stiff that you feel every bump on the road. I am just wondering how comfortable this Hellcat or even the Challenger SRT 392 handle will bumps on the imperfect public roads in isolating the shock? Are these comfortable cars to drive in to handle real world beat up roads?

      Would the Challenger SXT (V6) have the most comfortable ride out of all the Challenger models?

    How come you didn't use the red key fob? The black key fob only lets you get roughly 500hp. At least that's what I learned from other videos I've watched.

    A youtube with no comments section would be a novel idea. That way all you that are butt hurt about your life cannot pick apart every video, car and each other. Just enjoy it for what it is and if you don't like it go to a video you do like.
