  • If you want to hit a bigger and better forehand then you’re going to need to have the right type of tennis forehand drills. In this video, I’m going to focus on showing you 3 tennis forehand drills that will help you increase your topspin.
    Drills list:
    1) Topspin height control.
    2) Getting under the ball.
    3) Body acceleration
Topspin can give you more margin and allow you to play aggressively. The more that you understand how to hit topspin the more variety that you can have in your game.
You'll beat more players because you'll be able to adapt to many different situations.

As in previous videos (I rewatched this one) you help me clearly identify and work on (give drills) which build my game. This one really gave me some helpful ways to create topspin and more importantly for me now...reinforce that good contact through the hitting zone 👏👏👏👏👏 Thanks bunches...again!

I really dig your video's, keep it up! Can you make one about adjustment steps (smaller steps just before hitting the ball)?

I like to brush the tennis ball off the top of the net. It also helps with the radial deviation wind shield wiper type finish you want.

Great video. I would add that to really get a great forehand, you need to time your loop so that when you drop your racket face down ala "pat the dog", you slow down the drop and whip the racket forward. From my experience, this was critical in really developing crushing power. If you miss this step, you will still have a good forehand, just not a world class forehand.

    Thanks, Kevin!
Second drill of swinging and missing low: gonna try that! Focusing on racket face angle and keeping my head from lifting too soon after impact. Also finally learning to execute racket lag & seeing more power and consistency vs "arming" the ball.
Before hitting self fed balls, telling myself where, how deep, how high over the net, how hard and how much spin. I hope to hit better before I have my second hip surgery 🤞

Can you do a video on best strings to get? Preferably topspin. I feel like I have to restring my racket every 2 weeks.🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

Really good and useful Tutorials. Many thanks for that. You might want to speak a bit slower though as it is sometimes difficult to follow (espically for non-natives). Content-wise its great
