Always when disconnecting battery , disconnect negative terminal first and when connecting last….

Top fairing needs to be removed to not stress (and eventually) crack while removing the lateral panel, as per the manual. Good practice is grease the well nuts to avoid seizure down the road. At last, belts needs replacement each 2 years.

Panel seemed to fit without any stress ie., no force used to re-attach panel...over tightening fasteners will cause the panel to crack....
