I hadn’t thought about it until now that denim mills can manufacture/adjust slubbiness! Meaning it’s not from any natural error from the machines, but from a setting that was inputted. I now wonder if there are still jeans being made with “authentic” slubbiness from actual machine errors…
Yes, slubbiness is a controlled thing, it's not natural but it does end up looking that way. There do exist spinning mills who operate very old machines that produce naturally slubby yarns, but even then they are not nearly as slubby as the modern slub yarns.
Hi guys, definitely agree that this is such a great fabric. The goku slub stretch was the first NF jean I got… I then got it in Cellvedge and now waiting for the midnight slub true guy to be shipped. Keep up the good work, I’ve collected around 8 other Japanese brands but still haven’t come across such a combination of the “hardcore” slub with stretch.
I am a die hard stretch hater and a hater of the 'hidden' pocket selvedge badge. lol but i'm also not your only customer and i know these are the perfect jeans for someone out there. They still look amazing!!
Unfortunately not, the Weird Guy is going to be your widest leg opening option for this pair. By SS24 every fabric we run will be available in True Guy.

Received. It’s perfect pair of jeans. Absolutely great looking and super comfortable both the fit and the stretch.
Glad you like them!

That Goku denim was such a gateway for so many folks, such an awesome denim!!
Slub love !!!!
Gotta love that slub!
That fading reminds me of the indigo x natural indigo denim taht you guys released long wayback.
Loved how the fade looks like "rains" in the jeans :p
Didn’t plan to order one, but then hit it anyway! Waiting for it now~ trying weird guy fit for the first time (was on easy guys only)

I appreciate that you can appreciate these for somebody else :)
Is this one apart of the core collection? Just asking in reference to your live stream 😉
This one isn't, it's part of the seasonal collection. Though we usually run a new iteration of the Slub Stretch Selvedge every season.
@@NakedandFamousDenim will there be any deals on this one for the Black Friday sale? Really liking these for my first pair!
True Guy fit in any slubs for Fall '23?
Will these be offered in the True Guy fit? If so, it might be my holy grail pair!

Ya'll should make a midnight stretch elephant denim that's 21oz or more.
We do need to do another midnight Elephant denim that's for sure.
