I’ve been collecting Star Wars toys since I was a kid in 1978. I’ve amassed quite a large collection over the years and have had to store most of it for many years. I’ve forgotten a lot about what I have and don’t have. My wife and I recently moved to a new home so I took the opportunity to go through my stored stuff and take an inventory on what I actually have. I was fortunate enough to find the original 12 Back Display in great condition complete with the original backing card and name decal. I didn’t even remember owning the thing!!! So now I’m on the same quest as you were when putting your display together. I have multiples of all 12 figures but the condition varies and some are without capes, lightsabers and/or weapons. So, like you, the quest is on. I’ve been working on it for a few weeks now and have been having a blast putting it together. Great video. Thanks for sharing and cheers from Texas!!!!

My first two Star Wars figures were Han Solo and Chewbacca, and they cost 99p each. Great video by the way.

A three-legged Artoo Detoo was released in the DROID FACTORY playset by Kenner in 1979.
Yes I have one the only ones I’m missing are the Takara walking one and the droids pop up r2 then I have them all. This was an aftermarket addition but I thought it looked good on the vintage figure, i wonder why the never did it with the figures, just in the droid factory ? Hope you enjoyed the video ! sorry pall i'm still editing it, i'm hoping for thursday or friday, but we have some big deliveries this week ! Apologies its taken so long, but the stuff is epic, and i've found an inner for that starsky car, its one version i've not seen before, so it will look epic in the museum ! truly grateful ! M
