@@TacticalResponseCrew Respectfully, a brief review below.... My neighborhood range doesn't allow FMJ, which can get expensive with .223/5.56. I picked up a CMMG conversion kit. I previously had the conversion kit by Cenier, which never worked for crap. I have about 4,000 rounds through the CMMG. They take about 50 rounds to break in, then they run very reliably. The improved mag holds the bolt open after the last round to prevent dry firing. Inside of 40 rounds, accuracy is good enough. The zero shifts, which also happens with some suppressors. It gets the rifle as dirty as shooting with a can. Mine was a little picky with ammo. Federal wouldn't cycle reliably and had horrible accuracy. It loves Blazer, which is usually abundant. I believe the concept of "battle rifle" is more of the intermediate to long range. A 5.56 is good for a couple hundred yards with practice [and for some further] but it loses power. A .308 or .30-06 has a bullet that is at least 3x the weight [assuming standard 147/150grain], and with some good training is easily a 300-500 yard firearm and further. For goodness sakes, listen to the beginning. The man is doing a "four guns video", as in, a video styled in this fashion. If you watch any other four guns videos, nearly all of them throw in a 5th, or even more, for good measure. Don't count your damn guns. Keep buying until the threat is neutralized... :-)
I'm predicting this will be one if your most watched videos. I missed you last time you came to Sacramento California, hope you come out this way again.
For those that don’t watch or don’t speak Yeager... Glock 19, Midwest AR with aimpoint, MP-15 22, Remington 870, FAL. Yes those are his 4 picks. And $10,000 worth of mags ammo and tactical response classes.
In my country semi auto rifles are illegal, would you consider a marlin .30-30 a decent enough "fighting rifle", if not, should I just get an Ar15 from the drug lords around the block?
Cool, I have everything except the 308 and that is exactly what I have planed to acquire. Also the mid-range,... Have both the AR-15 and the AK-47. So who cares,... me. Thanks James.
3 guns: Handgun, shotgun and rifle. Three. There’s the math. He talked about three kinds of rifle, that’s all. My OP was pretty much tongue in cheek anyway. 👍 I absolutely agree with Mr. Yeager’s assessment.
My math is off.... that sounded like five, not four. lol.... Regardless, I couldn't agree more.
Was going to have a problem if he didn't throw in a shotgun. After all it Biden approved! " Buy a shotgun"
"Be smarter than other people, just don't tell them so." Jackson Brown Jr.
I thought the same thing...
I counted six
It thought for sure he was gonna say my Top 4 Guns You Need....A Glock 19, an AR, a backup Glock 19, and a backup AR.
"If it's good enough to hunt a dude, its good enough to hunt a deer" my new favorite line!! Thats awesome!!
I was thinking the same thing, haha.
And that's why I love watching James Yeager.
Thanks to RUclips videos, you will always be with us, James. RIP my Brother Veteran!
Wow sad, I didn’t realize he died. I wasn’t subscribed to his channel.
9mm , 22LR , 556 , 6ARC and 12ga are my preferred choices . For my application 6ARC works better than 308 or 6.5 ..
Definitely gonna miss you man ..

I definitely thought it was gonna be

Glock 9mm
Glock 9mm 19

Four guns everyone needs...
1 - carry pistol
2 - fighting rifle

Two pistols, a carry one and a 22LR that make six total to equal four 🤪

Or people
For goodness sakes, listen to the beginning. The man is doing a "four guns video", as in, a video styled in this fashion. If you watch any other four guns videos, nearly all of them throw in a 5th, or even more, for good measure. Don't count your damn guns. Keep buying until the threat is neutralized... :-)
Check
Agreed, God Bless, brother.
1. Side Arm: (Glock 19)
2. Battle Rifle: (DDM4)
3. Big Game: (Savage 110)
4. Small Game: (Ruger 10/22)
5. Shotgun: (Benelli M1014)
Training?
If it's good enough to hunt a dude it's good enough for a deer lol
I'm predicting this will be one if your most watched videos. I missed you last time you came to Sacramento California, hope you come out this way again.
Tucson!
Any recommendations for training providers in Wa State?
We are coming to Kuna ID
For those that don’t watch or don’t speak Yeager... Glock 19, Midwest AR with aimpoint, MP-15 22, Remington 870, FAL. Yes those are his 4 picks. And $10,000 worth of mags ammo and tactical response classes.
Wrong
What is the "best" semi-automatic designated marksman type rifle? Do you like the upgraded m14 type?
Midwest Industries .308 Battle Rifle
Yeager time
I thought we weren't allowed to teach
Teach who?
@@TacticalResponseCrew our women and children with 22s.
I never said that.
@@TacticalResponseCrew oh okay. I thought you implied that we were carpenters and we shouldn't be training people because that's your job
No genade launcher?
In my country semi auto rifles are illegal, would you consider a marlin .30-30 a decent enough "fighting rifle", if not, should I just get an Ar15 from the drug lords around the block?
I have Marlin .30-30...badass underrated round and gun
Still need a battle rifle and a .22 pistol.
Cool, I have everything except the 308 and that is exactly what I have planed to acquire. Also the mid-range,... Have both the AR-15 and the AK-47. So who cares,... me. Thanks James.
Hey James, M1a or an AR10 ?
@Jericho 261 Yes, and an FAL too : )
John Wojtalik
Good one !
Sounds about right to me.
Just listed the main firearms categories lol might as well say but at least 1 of every type and your covered.
4 guns:
EDC handgun
Small, intermediate and large caliber rifle
Shotgun
Seems to me like only three, not four...nor five like many comments here
3 guns: Handgun, shotgun and rifle.
Three. There’s the math.
He talked about three kinds of rifle, that’s all.
My OP was pretty much tongue in cheek anyway. 👍
I absolutely agree with Mr. Yeager’s assessment.
Got it!
You mean 7.62x54 Rimmed ?
I meant what I said.
@@Mockturtlesoup1 by that logic does the R in 7.62x53r still stand for Russian ? Or the 5.6x50r or the 5.6x52r ?
The only gun I don't have on that list is a battle rifle.
AR chambered in 7.62×39
You mentioned 5 guns James, not four. Good video though, and true info too. 1 like: 👍
The 5th weapon is your brain
Brother, you repeated exactly what I have taught at my ranges as a NRA law enforcement firearms instructor. Consider ne a friend.
