I love the pacing of this show, and it is necessary to allow good writing time to breathe, characters to develop and the story unfold and pay off. I absolutely love the Mon Mothma scenes because of the insight it gives us into the politics of the Universe as well as getting to see the inner workings of The Empire without the POV through Sith or Jedi eyes.
When the guy who says "this is the only excuse you will get from me" explains his motivations to be a rebel, he told about how the empire killed his sibling. This obviously resonated with Cassian. Remember this in episode 6. It will help explain Cassian action. You will know when you see it
The dialogue and interactions are so spot on. The Tie Fighters buzzing them 😮. I really enjoy Karn's scenes. I know some people though he should have been done with after the first arc but his view is a nice look at normal Imperial citizens. That and his mom is brutal lol
I was watching this series as it aired, so weekly viewing and waiting from this week into the next was a struggle! So much heist tension has been built at this point! They used to air at 2am CST for me and I was up for it each week. So good. I write all that to say this episode.. nearly 3am watching. when Vel takes her drink and toasts "to the rebellion" in these early stages chronologically of the rebellion and them unaware of the future and a farm boy named Luke that completes their early defiance..... I got chills! To the rebellion!
Yeah, most people thought that they were going to rob the garrison in this episode, but it really just ratcheted up the tension before it lets it go. There's so many great character things in this episode that if you're paying attention, it's better than any blaster battle. Skeen said "crate head" not "cadet" They were both in child labor camps or prisons I'm guessing.
The next episode pays off in spades - one of the greatest episodes of TV I've ever had the privelege of watching .. ... because this one helps to set it up. Almost like a football player swinging back his leg (episode 5), and scoring an amazing goal (episode 6)
Loving that we're getting so many uploads. Once again things are coming to head, and you'll just have to see how amazing it is. Meanwhile we're somehow just as engrossed with Mon Mothma's family life as we are with the upcoming bank heist.
Question, what's going on with the schedule now? I mean, are we finally going back to consistent uploads? Or should we expect some more significant delays between vids in the near future?
Time away from home, and less stuff to do as a result, means I can devote more time to this. Once I do get back home though, I do plan to keep up a fairly good pace.
What’s your thoughts on Andor so far? Is this the next ground breaking Star Wars show ,or is it a weird space show that doesn’t feel like Star Wars? That’s the debate between fans lmao
@@TopnessReactions If "Rogue One" is your favourite Star Wars, then I can almost certainly promise you that it won't be by the time you finish this show ... Episode 6 is my favourite - but many other people go for Episode 10, which is another utter classic ... the whole thing is classic, including Episode 12 - the finale [wait for the after-credits sequence, only on episode 12]

Hearing you say that Syril can still go make a name of himself shows how well you’re getting this show already, such a good show
Great! It is very interesting to see your detailed reaction to the films Star Wars Episode IV A New Hope and others. These are cool classic movies 👍🔥

“You might as well wear a sign on your forehead that says “I promise to disappoint you.”” 😳lmao

Loving this episode for the slow build of tension. Editing The Eye now, and it was well worth the wait!

Solid setup to the massive heist next episode! Get ready for some intense action!

The axe forgets, but the tree remembers....
One of many good lines in this series.
Don't you just love Syril "Cereal" Karn?
💖
Such a great line
liking this new upload schedule!

Rogue one is my favorite Star Wars, and this show is ranking up there with the movie for me. Incredible.

Thank you, Topness! 🪓 You'll get another climax in Episode 6.
