@@eduardoarmenta9232 I suspect that the ISB agent will still meet an unfortunate accident once his usefulness is over. If Luthen did'nt need him he would not have been allowed to leave. To many people already know that he exists its only a matter of time before he gets exposed.
I believe Kino jumped. Even though he couldn’t swim, I think he’d prefer to die trying rather than wait for them to come for him. His entire character arc has been about him waking up to the need to take action. He jumped. That said, I know one thing for certain. They will never tell us, one way or the other.
I wonder how many drowned because they couldn't hold their breath long enough. That fall was going to send them down low into the water and it would be difficult to judge when to hold your breath as you fell. That's also not counting those who probably died from hitting the water badly or those who were too old or tired to make the swim to shore. Its not like we saw lots of people reaching the beach, after all.
Luthen terrifies me. I thought he was going to kill that spy. I was holding my breath towards the end and felt so relieved when the elevator closed. And poor Kino, my heart broke for him. He deserved so much better 😭
I have a theory that the way Mon Mothma will finally tie directly together with Andor next season is the Luthen’s going to want to removed Lieda before the Empire can use her as a hostage to control Mon. This will culminate however in Andor refusing to do it, and Vel killing Luthen.
the entire cast in this have been absolutely fantastic. Classically trained British actors really showing their stuff and it fits PERFECTLY with this atmosphere. What a show.
@she_who_dares I agree, the sheer dedication, the different type of people in that galaxy that took risks and chances to give the future a fighting chance is amazing.
Kino isn’t dumb; he knows the prison is surrounded by water and that they’ll have to swim to escape. Yet even though he probably realizes he won’t make it from the very short, he’s still willing to put his life on the line to help everyone else be free. Its so heartbreaking and inspiring when you look back at it.

Man!!!! Andy Serkis and Stellan Skarsgard really gave it their all in this phenomenal episode, especially the speech that Luthen gave when he mentioned "I burned my life for a sunrise I'll never see." This quote makes so much more significant when Rogue One comes about post season 2. "I can't swim." I'm like: "NO!!!!" But everything of this recent episode is perfection, the build-up from the previous episode was worth it.
The small smile that Kino had when he said "I can't swim" the second time absolutely broke me. He did so much to get the prisoners out and led them to freedom, only to have that realization that he couldn't take part in it. I hope that he and some prisoners stay on the prison, and wait for a transport to come, so they can at least try to overwhelm them and take the ship. If not, I hope he jumped in and got some help, but I don't think we'll ever find out if he escaped or not. God, Andy Serkis is an incredible actor, and I'm really happy he returned to Star Wars for this role, because he killed it.
I just love the wrong idea that Imperials/ISB now have about Andor. Because from their point of view he killed officers steal technology and now infiltrated prison to instigate riots. So for all intents and purposes he is some super important, powerful and dangerous dejarik piece in this whole game.
That monologue that Luthen gave at the end of Episode 10 was truly incredible and the best I ever heard in Star Wars history. It reminded me of the "All those moments will be lost in time......like tears in rain" scene in Blade Runner!!

This have been one of the best Star Wars episodes ever. Andy Serkis just killed it. Amazing acting. Luthens speech was just chefs kiss. He changed the whole tone of the rebellion forever. God I loved every minute.
I feel the Spellhaus attack will be the "lightsaber ship" sequence... Luthen's conscience will not let him sacrifice the 50 men while personal intervention will make sure hs ISB spy is safe.
As soon as you said "Everything", I got chills, because I knew what was coming from Luthen, and because we all know what's coming for Andor. Honestly, this is Star Wars at its very best.
Not so much the monologue by Luthen, but its when he says "we need all the heroes we can get". The rebellion will need heroes like Ahsoka, the Spectres, Han, Luke, Leia, Wedge, Lando, Lonnie here, Bail Organa and Mon etc, to win this fight; but right now, it also needs monsters like Saw, Cassian and Luthen.
I just want to say. The writers. Wrote about a revolution, without holding back, the warts, the struggle. And most of all. They gave the revolution purpose. They showed what was at stake. The best bit, is it is the first time in American cinema that has done this justice. Considering the imperial tendancies of the US. Utter brilliance.
Fun to finally see the stakes at such a high level. Only makes the context later that much more dramatic. How big of a win is it now when Luke blows up the Empires monolithic planet killing construction of terror.
This episode was fuckin epic and bloody briliant !!! I still got chills and shivers , du the escape i was chanting all the time ONE WAY OUT!ONE WAY OUT! ONE WAY OUT !!! LOVED IT

The whole cast and crew need to be acknowledged for the episode in particular. The acting. The action. The sets. The effects. The WRITING! THIS IS STAR WARS AT IT'S BEST.
The "one way out" is the elevator to the assembly floor from the guard room. Everywhere else they normally have access to is on that level. Cells, showers, changing rooms. All of the levels are built the same, hence the low guard count at the time.
I’ve noticed you’ve been doing this for a while now - BUT “Are you ready best friend?” So wholesome, it’s not very often that we hear any wholesome shit in the fanbase. It’s nice to hear.
woohooo I got Kleya this week! It seems like every week I say this is the best episode so far...but this episode is one of the best pieces of Star Wars content I've ever seen.
What grabbed me during Skarsgårds dialouge was also the ambiance sound design. That level of detail in this show gave me chills and is really what makes it come alive.
I like how Luthen and Saw have been made to look like two sides of the same coin. Both fanatically devoted to the rebellion but in completely opposites ends of the spectrum
My first thought when they all dove, was how many of them fell on top of each other when free falling like that, so many of them had to have broken by falling on each other
Apart from the electrified floors, the Imps don't seem to have a very well thought-out prison. I bet there's a couple of speeders somewhere on the upper deck for doing exterior inspections of the structure which Kino could use to escape.
I loved the episode, the best one so far, Andor has changed a lot, and he no longer hesitates to shoot an enemy on the ground, a huge change from the first episode, although he still doesn't kill in cold blood except if absolutely necessary. The prison escape is also the first operation that Andor creates and directs instead of being a member of the group. In addition, the empire creates an army of enemies in that prison, gives them order, structure, uniforms, teaches them to march and obey and act as a unit instead of individuals, leaders, hierarchy, discipline and most important of all, a reason to the rebellion The moment someone sees through the lie the entire imperial system falls apart. The more they oppress the more and more enemies they create, until they cannot subdue them all, it is a vicious circle that the Empire itself creates and from which it is unable to escape. It is also the episode of the great speeches, where both Kino and Luthen shine in their scenes. Both excellent characters and they can both go very far, but they will never reach the end of the path, they can only help others to make that path.
award winning episode, omg the monologue, Lonnie"and what do you sacrifice?" Lutherans response FREAKIN HANDS DOWN EPICNESS eg.."I made my mind a sunless space I share my dreams with ghosts im damned for what I do.."OMG

This have been one of the best Star Wars episodes ever. Andy Serkis just killed it. Amazing acting. Luthens speech was just chefs kiss. He changed the whole tone of the rebellion forever. God I loved every minute.
Luthen’s speech makes me wish we ever got true Dark Side force wielders on the Rebel side.
16:44 A damn space battle of words ♥ Inlove with Andor!! What a madness.
Might we see the failed Spellhaus attack next week? If Saw had been convinced to help he woulda gotten killed too!
I feel the Spellhaus attack will be the "lightsaber ship" sequence... Luthen's conscience will not let him sacrifice the 50 men while personal intervention will make sure hs ISB spy is safe.
"This went Game of Thrones real quick" killed me 🤣🤣🤣
This might be one of the best episodes. I say that a lot when watching Andor.
4:20 When you are rich enough, but not respected, respectability is the only thing money cannot buy.
you mean like Elon Musk?
@@KyleKatarnChannel good answer
This episode gave me chills all over! The writing, the acting, the music and directing were all top notch! Masterpiece of an episode!
Seriously it is on purpose, Luthen really likes to dress as a jedi when he drops his arts dealer facade. 😁
Also amazing episode.
Paddy Consadine, Andy Serkis and Stellan Skarsgard are gonna have a Mexican standoff at the Emmys next year
Each one is in a different category right? Best actor , best guest actor best supporting actor. But not sure about paddy since I didn’t watch it
Fun to finally see the stakes at such a high level. Only makes the context later that much more dramatic. How big of a win is it now when Luke blows up the Empires monolithic planet killing construction of terror.
This series is too damn good. My heart is filled with joy! ❤️
"I can't swin" just became the most heartbreaking line in the history of television.
This episode was fuckin epic and bloody briliant !!! I still got chills and shivers , du the escape i was chanting all the time ONE WAY OUT!ONE WAY OUT! ONE WAY OUT !!! LOVED IT
WHAT IF luthen is Kento Marek? He and his wife left the Order before order 66 and his son became STARKILLER ... "I share my dreams with ghosts. I wake up every day to an equation I wrote 15 years ago from which there’s only one conclusion: I’m damned for what I do. My anger, my ego, my unwillingness to yield, my eagerness to fight, they’ve set me on a path from which there is no escape. I yearned to be a savior against injustice without contemplating the cost, and by the time I looked down, there was no longer any ground beneath my feet."
he is 100% kento marek
This might be my favourite episode of any Disney Plus series!
I was thinking: The prison outfits (white and orange) could be the inspiration for the rebel pilot-uniforms :P
Love the phrase you guys use to jump off the video. “Do It!” 😂
The way Luthen was dressed I half expected him to pull out a lightsaber.
Anytime a new episode comes out, y'alls is the first reaction I look for! 😍😍
From this point forward, gonna be VERY cognizant of when someone says, "Climb!" in this series.
Superb episode. Skarsgård, O'Reilly and Serkis delivering a punch. Andor is the best Star Wars show hands down! 👌👏👏👏
The whole cast and crew need to be acknowledged for the episode in particular. The acting. The action. The sets. The effects. The WRITING! THIS IS STAR WARS AT IT'S BEST.
i’ve watched Luthen’s monologue like 20 times now and it still gets me. my favorite moment in an amazing season of Star Wars.
14:54 the way luthen said "plan" like he was mocking lonni
The "one way out" is the elevator to the assembly floor from the guard room. Everywhere else they normally have access to is on that level. Cells, showers, changing rooms. All of the levels are built the same, hence the low guard count at the time.
Soooo good!!! Favorite episode yet. Thanks for the reaction guys, feels like i actually have friends to watch with me 😅❤️
I’ve noticed you’ve been doing this for a while now - BUT
“Are you ready best friend?”
So wholesome, it’s not very often that we hear any wholesome shit in the fanbase. It’s nice to hear.
woohooo I got Kleya this week!
It seems like every week I say this is the best episode so far...but this episode is one of the best pieces of Star Wars content I've ever seen.
For me it's one of the best pieces of content i've ever seen period.
What grabbed me during Skarsgårds dialouge was also the ambiance sound design. That level of detail in this show gave me chills and is really what makes it come alive.
As for Luthen keeping assets and information separate, just remember the Sicilian proverb: Three can keep a secret if two are dead.
I like how Luthen and Saw have been made to look like two sides of the same coin. Both fanatically devoted to the rebellion but in completely opposites ends of the spectrum
"Are you ready best friend?" Was so wholesome
The swimming scene is basically like sea turtles, there are so many eggs because the species knows so few make it.
My first thought when they all dove, was how many of them fell on top of each other when free falling like that, so many of them had to have broken by falling on each other
EPIC!
I got chills during this,
Phenomenal writing ✍ 👏
I’m soo frustrated with my friends for not watching this! It feels like my head is going to explode, I’ve tried everything to get them to watch andor
Honestly that speech Serkis's character gave made me tear up. He's amazing.
The line that hit me the most, and I still makes.me.pause is "I've been condemned to use the tools of my enemy."
The acting, the dialog, and the action . . . the is Shakespearean Star Wars. This is fantastic! Skarsgard earned a supporting actor in a drama Emmy this episode. Serkis earned guest star in a drama Emmy too!
Inmates together strong!
This is what happens when you give good actors some top shelf material to chew on.
Gosh, I love y'all's commentary and conversations so much. You're so knowledgeable Kyle!
We go into battle to reclaim our lives. Victory is life!
People after watching The Mandalorian: "This is the way," is so fucking ICONIC!
People after watching Andor: One Way Out!
aaayyy we got the Bendu back for this one!
for real? this episode - this series - it's now the best thing I've ever seen from Star Wars (& I am so happy we have this & at the same time I can appreciate & be a fan of things like The Mandalorian or all the animation goodness)
God, give Gilroy a trilogy - give HIM the next trilogy - the writing team of he, his brother, Williamson - just everyone - emmys all around.
"Spent all of his money on pizzos." Ha!
I was almost waiting for Luthen to pull out a red light Saber during that speech😁
Last episode gave me chills. This one had me outright shuddering. Multiple times. This is so freaking good.
This chapter give us one (if not the most) awesome monologue of all the star wars saga......amazing
Thanks, Kyle! Thanks, Bendu! Thanks, Nerd Chronic! 💥 Kudos to Toby Haynes' directing prowess in this thrilling episode. #KyleKatarn #StarWars #Andor
Isn’t the ISB Agent the same guy who was manning the radio room in Rogue One and notify Mon Mothma about the Scarif attack?
I just recently rewatched Rogue One and I think you might be right
@@cambion_entertainment redhead with mustache. I think so.
That Luthen Rael Monologue was superb!
Just realized. Narkina-5 is basically the Floor is Lava. 😂
The meeting point with Liuthen and the ISB supervisor makes me sad for 1313 all over again :(
13:45 100% We NEED an UNDERGROUND Coruscant series! It was great to see some of it in Rebels and Bad Batch. It SERIOUSLY deserves it's on series though!
