Hi, Kim! We have a problem with merchant certification being suspended and need your opinion and some help. Pinterest's review department replied to us that the website did not meet the quality requirements for now. Please tell me what could be the problem that we have been running Pinterest for 3 years and have 100,000 followers and we don't want to give up our business on Pinterest:(
@@artexplore3484 Good timing - I actually have a video scheduled to publish tomorrow on that exact error. The most common reasons are stock images or out-of-stock items are showing. That video will be out at 9am Pacific time to give more details though. Don't worry - you'll get it back! It might take a few tweaks, but if you were already approved, it's probably out-of-stock items.

Thank you so much! I get it now. I have reached out to Pinterest several times for help with this, and they never explained this to me. This data is also missing from their help center.
Yeah, they aren't going to tell you a lot of things that are useful. I was once on a webinar with a Pinterest representative and she said there are some pieces of information they just are not going to share. But, it's possible that customer service just doesn't know. I am so glad the video helped!
Just to verify, when you made the purchase, you purchased an item that has a price? You can use a coupon to make it zero, but if the item is set to zero price before the purchase...it won't work. I don't want you to have to do it all over again in 72 hours. 😉

Hi there, my verified merchant was just suspended because my add to cart tag is red. How do I fix this? Do i need to update the code in to Shopify? Thank you
How long has it been since there was a purchase on your site? If the Add to Cart is red, usually that's because there hasn't been a purchase within the timeframe. You can make a purchase yourself, but be sure to use a coupon code if you reduce the price instead of zeroing the price. Wait for 48-72 hours and see if that fixes it. Alternately, if you have had a purchase within the past 7 days, there might be something wrong with the connection. Before you change the connection, are you using the Pinterest App for Shopify?
I have heard that some people do that to re-trigger the process. If you don't have anything altered/customized, it seems like another simple solution. Thank you for sharing!
If you received an email about it but don't have an error when you log in, you'll have to contact Pinterest support and see why. It could be an email sent by mistake (it's been a while since they've done that), or it could be a different issue. For example, you might have the code in two places and it's flagging an internal issue but not showing for the elements specific to the Pinterest Merchant Verification elements. If you received the email, had someone purchase, then logged in a couple of days AFTER the email, it might have been an issue and resolved with the purchase. Just some ideas. You might want to check with Pinterest directly to ensure all is well.
I have been told to fix the "shop quality experience" and my deadline is by end of Feb. Can you please help me? Thanks for all this amazing videos you have put out there. I have gone through all the steps they asked me but still not fixing their warning. Thanks again
Without seeing your site, I can only offer some suggestions. Site speed is important to Pinterest now, so you should check your site speed. As long as you are at a C or higher, that's probably not the issue. Other issues could be pop-ups or if they detect something scraping data. Pixels are fine, but if you are using something sketchy, the Pinterest system may detect it. I recommend running through their list of things and checking them. For example, it could be grammar issues. Use a free tool like Grammarly to check. Review the list here and if you still can't figure it out, share your site or hop into the Little Biz Resources Facebook Group and share it there. Here are the guidelines from Pinterest: policy.pinterest.com/en/merchant-guidelines
There could be a few reasons. Were you approved recently (within the last day or two)? Or did you have the blue checkmark and it went away? Is your domain at least 13 months old?
@@Nasar1999 If you had the checkmark and it went away...then, something is wrong with the connection. You should see an error if there is something wrong. If the checkmark disappeared and doesn't come back within a day or two, you should have an error pop up. You can also follow the guidance in the video and make a purchase on your site to see if that fixes it. Do NOT zero out the product price though. That doesn't work anymore. Instead, you can use a coupon code to make the product price zero. It's also possible Pinterest is just testing things and it will come back. If you don't have an error at all and don't see the blue checkmark, check to make sure that your products show up. Here's a video that helps you see that the pins are still showing: ruclips.net/video/iYvJjzJSMGw/видео.html
@@Nasar1999 yes, but why would you want to do that? Those would be the pins auto-generated from your connection. You need to disconnect your site from Pinterest then possibly delete the pins. If there is an issue, Pinterest will tell you what it is and you just need to fix that.

Is this because I have had no "Sales" through Pinterest ?? Hope you can get back to me to help me sort it out ... Much Love Danni X
As long as you have had sales recently (within the past 7 days), then sales should not be an issue. The connection doesn't distinguish between people checking out from other locations or initiating from a pin (it should so you have better data, but Pinterest is like many other marketing platforms and takes credit for any sales on your site). The "shopping experience quality" is another generic phrase used to indicate an issue, but support really won't know what that issue is. What is your shopping cart? Woocommerce, shopify, etc?
Thanks for this, what if it’s the refund policy..I’ve done it to Pinterest several times and it still says not approved. I emailed them and they just keep regurgitating the same information.
I assume you have a refund policy? Also, a shipping policy and details for shipping times? Most of Pinterest review is now automated, so the automated system is not detecting something. Double-check the link to the policy pages is clearly labeled and in the footer of all pages. If you are using WordPress, use the Pinterest plugin. If you want, you can hop in the Little Biz Resources FB Group and provide more details and maybe a link to your site. I can probably give you better guidance if I see the site. How long ago did you connect Shopify to Pinterest? And, did you make any major changes in the last 72 hours (like a big addition of products to your site)?
I am so sorry I didn't follow up with this. A lot of my comments are hidden from me for some reason. I found a way to change the order and a bunch of comments I've never seen showed up. So, I missed this - if you are still not verified on Pinterest and want to get anything fixed, please feel free to reach out to me through Messenger. The absolute best way to contact me is through my Facebook group and then you can tag me in a post to let me know you sent me a message, or even post any issues there. fb.com/groups/littlebizresources
@@trendycatportraits With a generic error, I can't tell you for sure what the issue is. That's why I asked what platform. From my testing, it looks like Pinterest gives different issues for different platforms. You are the first person to mention this issue. If I know which platform, I might be able to narrow it down. But, if you place an order and wait 48 hours, you can narrow that down. If you haven't had an order on your website within 3-4 weeks- it is absolutely an issue. Just use a coupon code to reduce the purchase price and make a purchase. Do NOT zero the price first, that can remove the product from the catalog. Use a coupon code if you don't want to have to spend the money. Wait 48 hours to see if this updates the status of the Verified Merchant Program. If it clears the issue, you know that's what was wrong. If it doesn't, then you will have to troubleshoot more. Without seeing more, I can't give you better guidance. That's the disadvantage of generic errors. But, Pinterest set them up that way, so we are at the mercy of testing.
Hi Kim, I'm looking for someone who can look at my pinterest account & help me fix tag concerns so I can become a verified merchant. Do you, or anyone you know, do this type of work? Any idea on how much the cost would be?

@waqasjaved7871 I am sorry for the delayed response to this. I don't get to see all of the comments for some reason. Pinterest has had massive issues with accounts tagging Amazon products. I sell on Amazon and can't tag my products. The only solution Pinterest provides for that is to contact them so they can "turn it on" for your account. I have no clue why this isn't available to all accounts, but you aren't alone! I need to reach out to them as well and find out why my account (and I am in the USA) cannot tag Amazon products. In affiliate situations, you would not have a catalog - so, I assume you are tagging product pins you create with the Amazon affiliate links. I have never seen anyone fix the issue with Pinterest intervening, so you'll likely have to contact them directly. They might try to just tell you it's not available in your country, but I would tell them you're working with clients in the USA and know that there are other accounts in your country that have this option. Here's the support ticket link: help.pinterest.com/en/contact

Hi Faruk. That means your domain is not at least 13 months old. You can try to contact Pinterest and see if they will make an exception, but it is probable they will not. Other options are to re-brand the site and change it to a domain that is at least 13 months old or just wait. I am not aware of any other solutions. We have had our domains for years. The absolute best way to contact me is through my Facebook group and then you can tag me in a post to let me know you sent me a message, or even post any issues there. fb.com/groups/littlebizresources
Awesome thanks you hunni XXX
Thank you for taking the time to comment! I hope you were able to fix any tag issues.
@@LittleBizResources This is the point is that the issue ?
Great video...did anyone know how to fix this error "Domain registered for 13 months" if there is any fix or just wait?
How long has your domain been registered?
Hi Kim, I'm looking for someone who can look at my pinterest account & help me fix tag concerns so I can become a verified merchant. Do you, or anyone you know, do this type of work? Any idea on how much the cost would be?
What type of site do you have? WordPress, Shopify, etc?
Hey, we've just had this issue but our tag health is all good and we've got green ticks for all of our events. However we still have the error message Fix your conversion source! Help :(
We have this same issue! Would love to know if anyone else has figured this out.
Where are you seeing the error message then? Email?
@@LittleBizResources we received an email, and we also have the message in the red banner across the top of page and a red flag underneath our verified merchant status saying Action Needed.
@@LisaCrilly-McKean If you had a purchase or made a purchase to validate the process, it can take up to 72 hours to update everything. I received an email the day after a purchase (not from me, from a customer) was made and the banner showed a conversion error. Now that it's been over 48 hours, the banner shows fixed. I expect I will not have an issue now, but wont know for sure until I get another email. If you log in and it's been 72 hours since someone made a purchase, and there is still an issue showing...then, it might be something else. It's hard to troubleshoot from just an email. I recommend hopping into the Little Biz Resources FB group and asking questions in there (you can ask anonymously if you feel that is best). fb.com/groups/littlebizresources
Where on the website do I add the tags for it to work?
It depends on your website. Are you using WordPress or Shopify? If not, what kind of site do you have?
Sqaurespace :)
I am not super familiar with Squarespace. I used them years ago and it has changed a ton. Generally, you copy the Pinterest code and paste it in the header code section. Pinterest has a dedicated article here: help.pinterest.com/en/business/article/squarespace-and-pinterest-tag#:~:text=From%20your%20Squarespace%20admin%2C%20navigate,and%20then%20click%20Code%20Injection.&text=Replace%20YOUR_TAG_ID%20with%20your%20own,started%20under%20Install%20Pinterest%20Tag.
If you continue having problems, you can hop into the Little Biz Resources Facebook Group and we can do a more detailed discussion: fb.com/groups/littlebizresources
Thank you! I sincerely appreciate the help
how to enable product tagging feature on pinterest pin ???
Product tagging should be automatically available once you create product pins. It is only available in select countries. If your catalog is not connected to Pinterest, you need to connect the catalog. If you are willing to provide more details, I can try to provide better guidance. What country are you in? Do you have the catalog connected to Pinterest? Are you tagging YOUR products or products on a different website (and if it's a different site, which one)?
Thank so so much for your reply.
1: i added the location of USA but i am not in the USA. my frnd also do that but he have this feature.
2: i have not connected the catalog.
3: i am doing a AMAZON AFFLIATE through my free website. so please help me what can is do now becasue im fresh now.. @@LittleBizResources
How to set up code events for product id in pinterest woocommerce
Are you using the Pinterest plugin?
Hello, I hope you are doing well. My name is Faruk. I also have one of the issues you mentioned, but I am fixing it and I believe that you will not withhold your help in this matter. I am leaving the error message here as a note:
"Domain name registered for 13 months
Your business website must have been created at least 13 months ago."
I am eagerly awaiting your solution. Best wishes for your happiness and health.
Hi Faruk. That means your domain is not at least 13 months old. You can try to contact Pinterest and see if they will make an exception, but it is probable they will not. Other options are to re-brand the site and change it to a domain that is at least 13 months old or just wait. I am not aware of any other solutions. We have had our domains for years. You might be able to purchase a domain from someone if you don't have one that is at least 13 months old.
@@LittleBizResources Hello, thank you very much for your quick reply. I will fulfill your recommendations. I wish you a healthy day.
