Yeah man. I’m definitely glad it’s over. I swear it’s always one thing after another with these bikes. You do a bunch of performance upgrades and then the dumbest shi* breaks when putting it back together

Thanks! I was afraid I will have to do a full inner fairing replacement. I’m going to give this a try. Had two strip out on my 2016 road glide
Happy to help. If all else fails. All you’d have to replace is the speaker pod. Whichever side it’s on.

Sh*** !! Where was this damn video 4 months ago? Same thing happened to my 2017 CVO. Ended up replacing the speaker pod. This would’ve saved me hundreds in parts and labor 😢
Dang! See I knew this must be happening to others as well. Glad you got it fixed. Sucks you had to pay that much tho for a dang bolt. Wish Harley would use better quality hardware on these expensive machines.

H-D part# 5207. That is for the well nut. Go to the hardware store and get a 10-32 1.5” screws. Harley chargers $4 per bot. Hardware store you can get them for 0.50¢.
Why didn’t you ride to the dealership ??
Because it was 15 degrees yesterday where I live and the dealership is an hour away on an 80 mph freeway, lol I’m good on getting frost bite and being miserable on that ride. Also, my fairing had bolts taken off.

This part number you provided worked on my 2021 road glide special! I did however have to run to hardware store and get a 10-32 1.5” screw. Since the well nut sits further down. But this saved my a$$ from having to buy a single speaker pod at $114 per side! I only had one insert strip out .. thank you again!
