The Arturia Gadget is kind of Roland’s Plug Out technology used in System 1 and System 8. Accompanied with Maschine Plus it will be an absolute killer for DAWless live playing with all the Arturia stuff inside that box. Can’t afford it, but would if I could.

Hi Alice, I used the Spotify AI playlist maker just now. In the prompt field i put “give me recent EDM tracks 120 BPM to 128 BPM” … and it gave me a result in 3 seconds, of 30 songs. Magic. (the results were including David Guetta, Ava Max, KREAM and similar) 🎉
Very interesting. So you were satisfied with what it gave you? I'm the writer for the news, and really interested in that. Were all the songs newer? or were they old tracks? And had you heard of all the artists? I'm curious if it's giving anything unknown to you as well.

As great as this offering from Arturia is it is also very limited unfortunately. About $1200 too much.
I hope Tidal will add something like that for playlist generation. Having an AI researching for you would be nice. Sometime you are looking for a kind of music, but it's full polutated with other music that has nothing to do with what you are looking for. Having an personnal DJ would be better than a personal Jesus.

Arturia is insane for thinking anything about the Astrolab was a good idea
I watched an Arturia Astrolab unboxing video, and saw a key breaking from simple handling while the keyboard was being unboxed. This is A VERY bad sign as far as build quality for any musical instrument, never mind any 2000$ musical instrument aimed towards gigging musicians

Please point us to the unboxing video. I could only find a video by Woody Piano, where he shows a clip of an old video in which he finds an Arturia Keylab keyboard damaged during the unboxing process.

My understanding is it’s easier for devs on iOS as the devices are all much more similar, but Android has wildly different form factored and tech specs so developing takes more time and money

Behringer is the worst company I can imagine. It is like Nestle and Monsanto mixed together in one huge closet.
To be fair, comparing B. with those two is comparing an ant with two Tyrannosaurus Rex... But it seems you haven't looked into IK Multimedia and how they handle their customers...try to sell your registered Uno Synth Pro and to transfer your registration (you need it to get firmware updates).
Lmao, Nestle and Monsanto are way worse.
At least Behringer is not killing people by making them getting cancer.

I remove channels from my sight forever for covering Behringer positively. The nefariousness of the company is that, when they essentially re-release some _actual_ original creativity from a reputable synth maker on the cheap, it robs the OG synth maker from being able to enjoy the FULL, modern-day reception they earned should _they_ want to re-release their own update of their classic synth. It stifles future ingenuity from _actually_ talented makers by essentially allowing newcomers to the synth scene to rob them of future investment by buying the Behringer version. For folks who have a smidge of lateral-thinking whatsoever and apply it to how crucial it is to safeguard the future innovation of synthesis, there shouldn't even be a "both sides" to this discussion. The only drama is due to folks who refuse to save up a little more for *good* makers and want to continue slamming cheap, sub-par quality pieces into their studio at top-speed, then as a bit of projection complain loudly online to folks who refuse to patronize Behringer and their continued conquest of doing damage to synthesis as a whole.
