The thing about this kind of story is that contracts can be invalidated if signed under duress. So if he could show that Suge and his entourage attacked his security and threatened him Ice could simply have a court invalidate the contract. The likelihood of Ice winning that case with Suge Knights record and the witnesses would have been very very high.

It is crazy how the hardest moments in our lives sometimes become the best thing to happen to us. He didn't know anything about contracts etc, lost out on his song, and ended up learning about them to buy it back. Used that same lesson to buy the other song his song stole from. All that knowledge that pays him to this day came from that day
Looking back, his music was super impactful and influential on my early teenage years. Its really cool to see him happy in life after all these years
