For people who dont like sprouts, i guarantee if you do this cooking method you will want sprouts with every roast dinner, 500g brussels sprouts 2 tbsp butter 2 garlic cloves crushed or finely gratedstep 1 Use a food processor, mandoline or knife to shred the sprouts as finely as you can, and set aside. Melt the butter in a large frying pan or wok until sizzling, then toast ½ tsp freshly cracked black pepper for 1 min. Lovin' the air fried Yorkshire puddings... that is a fantastic idea. Despite the disasters, the meal looks absolutely delicious... especially that beef. Wow!!
Hi Andy. The Yorkshire puddings reminded me of school dinners, as their Yorkshire puddings used to come flat, in a big tray. Also, that beef, sounds great for £5 per kilo, I'll try that. Take care mate, all the best 👍
Thanks all the meats are really a good price, yeah couldn’t believe it power goes half way through cooking, lost all the heat and also now need a new oven 😂😂 a least the food turned out decent 😂👍
I've tried doing Yorkshire puddings in the air fryer, they were awful! You still need our ovens Andy. We are all air fryer happy these days. They gave their place but ovens are still the best. Beef looks amazing.
That beef was amazing, yeah thought I would give it a, power went of halfway through and was off for nearly an hour then the oven broke 😂 never mind soon be Christmas 😂👍
Just trying the pigs in blankets turkey sourdough pizza from Aldi Andy yum yum… your videos make me go to the supermarket! Despite the mishap, your meal still looked lovely, well done
That beef looked so good, thank goodness you air fried it, when I saw you putting it into a pan of water, I though oh no why do that to a beef roast, a cheap cut of beef cooked with vegetables, and spices, in liquid is lovely, but not a roasting joint.I see a lot of people no longer roasting meat, but pot roasting in liquid, once you start to cook in liquid you need to cook for about 3 hours, or it’s tough, yours came out so tender, because it was cooked perfectly in the air fryer. Sorry about your oven, my fridge died, was at least 25 years old, only half my gas stove was working, so luckily as I live in an Apartment they replaced them for me, then the on button on my microwave stopped working, the microwave was fine, just wouldn’t turn on, then my cat knocked my toaster oven down, Broke the side off,I got it in 1972,and it was still working perfectly till she did that, so in a few weeks I got all new appliances. You know the saying “ Never rains, but it pours” 😊
Definitely worth stocking up on the veg when cheap, Made some fresh chunky triple cooked chips the other day from scratch with a big bag of spuds they are perfect from frozen after the second stage. Blanch(par boil) drain and dry then either fry or airfry at a low temperature then let cool down and then freeze.. cook from frozen for the third instalment process at the usual normal temperature 👌
Got to say ive tried graay smith toad it the hole in air fryer and it not been good but im no cook and the oven going of is a disastrous for yorkie great videos andy
I Like sprouts and would have them with my christmas dinner in the work canteen until they got banned because some people just lobbed them around and I Like a full side dish of yorkshire puddings at least half a dozen
just got my beef at asda big joint for 15 quid i put it in the slow cooker at 9pmand do it on slow all n ite and the next dinner at 2pm get the beef out thicken the gravy and pull thge beef in chunks and put it back in the gravy and say an hour its ready and my fam love it xxxx
In the US that would be a pot roast, and popular, good way to cook cheap cuts of beef. Not for a nice roasting joint though, they don’t have enough fat, and dry out with this method.😊
@@kathrynbroome5966 I didn’t say you used cheap meat, I said that when people in the US make a pot roast they use cheaper cuts of beef to make it, perhaps I should have said fattier cuts of beef, as nothing is cheap now. Here pot roast is made most often from brisket, or a chuck roast. I was not being critical of you, or the way you cook your beef dinner, if it seemed that way, I apologize, I certainly didn’t mean for you to think that. I wish you a lovely Christmas.
Picked up one of those beef joints last week for under £6 to go with the turkey & gammon joints on xmas day and leftover cold meats on boxing day an absolute bargin 👍
Hi mate got it from Aldi lot of shops are doing them look for a Christmas looking label and check the cut of the meat some is silverside which I find sometimes ain’t so tasty, this was top rump, I always look for a nice darker colour in the meat, some of can look pale in colour I tend to avoid them 👍
My daughter thinks sprouts should be banned for ever 😂😂😂 good meal though Andy how annoying everything breaking my ring went the other day the web y the kettle all in the space of a few minutes ruddy annoying

Ovens have limited use now, things like pizzas and joints of meat you do need one but air fryers are the main source of cooking now
I think any michelin chef would tell you you're wrong. @Captainperfection
I only know one person uses zee air fryer...cheers
