looked great andy ... the beef you used was lovely ... however as an ex butcher it would be even better if you trimmed the tight sinew all over the joint b4 cooking just like a pork fillet...great vid as always bud...you are the best foodie on here from the uk by a LONG way. spence aberdeen.
For those that fancy something different and a lot less hassle, then there's a Christmas dinner right here. That looked absolutely amazing and I would be well happy to bulge my tocky with this at Christmas. 😊 Nice one, great idea.
Fat Andy awesome sandwich. Try making an Italian muffalata in a hollowed out loaf. Fried courgette, roasted red pepper, onions, olives and your favourite selection of Italian cured meats, ham etc. balsamic vinegar dressing and pickled chilli
You cooked that beef really well,I am sure it was delicious.I can’t believe how cheap everything is, a cauliflower this week was $6 , everything goes up at Christmas, you guys are so lucky. I prefer bread over beef, so one slice of beef on a nice rye bread with the cheese would make me happy.I am a small meat eater, like lots of vegetables, and carbs.I haven’t had a roast beef in over 40 years, though I have had a roast beef sandwich a few times, the last time was before COVID , use to get one at the deli after I left work after midnight, with mayonnaise.😊
Hi Janet, yeah vegetables and Meat gets really cheap leading up to Christmas, we have, sprouts, potatoes, broccoli, carrots, parsnips, red & white cabbage all 8p per bag, lamb £5-£6 per kg same with beef, pork really cheap pick up a 3.5kg leg of pork for £9 so yeah some good prices 👍
@jindownes sorry for the late reply, the weight was roughly 1kg, 20 minutes in the air fryer/oven at 180c then take it out wrap in foil for a further 20 minutes, then I take it back out unwrap it and then put it back in for a 15 minutes all at 180c, and then after that take it out wrap in foil and let it rest for about 15-20 minutes then it’s ready for carving 👍 You can also check out my other video kitchen disaster, I did roast beef in the air fryer on that one 👍
That looked stunning mate never knew you could cook beef in the air fryer not long got one and never sure how long to cook things so might do a smaller joint of beef and treat myself to a bit of a roast after christmas, can you put the foil in the air fryer bud??
Yeah no problem but anything you put in there make sure it’s secure otherwise the fan at the top can lift the foil/paper and catch the fan, check out my kitchen disaster video I did a few days ago 👍
Get a vacuum sealer, Andy. Mine was 20 quid from Lidl when they had them. (They'll be back). Fantastic food saver. Also, stops food you freeze getting freezer burnt.
That's a fantastic sandwich🥪🥪 if that was in Iceland supermarket it would be £39.99 and it would say serves 20 with their portion sizes😂😂. Looks very tasty mate 👍
Stunning chef ,,,,wish you cooking a miller carters yestday ,,,two rib eye steaks75 pound medium absalute raw you got that beef perfecto ...great couple
I had a nightmare last night, it went thus Hi all this is skinny Andy here, I’ve spent a fortune 🔮 on Ozempic and here is my bean sprout 🌱 red cabbage and cucumber 🥒 zero calorie vegan 🥑 bread sandwich 🥪 I woke up in a cold 🥶 sweat 😓 and this was in my to watch list 😮💨
That one was Asda they are all doing it cheap I always look for top rump or top side for a roasting joint and for a nice dark piece, I never go for the pale looking joints 👍
Not exactly £10 for a sandwich. The complete beef joint was under £10 and cheese was £2.59. He only used half of the beef joint and I think all of the cheese. So this big sandwich that serves at least 3 to 4 people works out about only £7.59 which is very cheap in my opinion with that quality of a sandwich. 👍
Ok I’ll be round. Save me some 🤣🤣
😂😂
Andy. I'm watching your channel from Egypt on holiday coz I can't get enough of it! Keep up the good work my favourite food RUclipsr!
Thanks mate have a good holiday 👍

Thanks tip I really appreciate it, happy Christmas 🎄
Lush sandwich 👌🏼……should of poured all the roasting juices over the top 😋
I did think of that but I didn’t want to make the roll soggy 👍

Delicious mate! Can I ask what temperature you cooked the beef at? And the weight of the joint too? Planning on doing this tomorrow!
Gas mark 6 for an hour, put back in for another 40 mins if you want it very tender
Also rest the meat after cooking, get some foil over the top and leave the meat alone. Delicious meat 👍🏻
@@rebeccataylerthank you 😊. Was going to try it in the air fryer so wanted Andy’s settings too!

Hi 👋
Hi Lois 😊
Where did you get the beef from andy
That one was Asda they are all doing it cheap I always look for top rump or top side for a roasting joint and for a nice dark piece, I never go for the pale looking joints 👍
Meat cooked to my requirement. But them juicy would be nice if gravy was made and some placed inside sandwich. Before heating up well done Andy
Thanks yeah you could do, but if I did it that way I would leave the cheese out 👍
Looks abit dry Andy, could have done with the juices put into some gravy to dip in
Yeah wasn’t too bad with the cheese, I did say to the Mrs about gravy but she said she didn’t want it so I left it, but yeah good idea 👍
Looks good Andy,yum
Thanks 👍
You're such a great cook Andy! My mouth is watering! And did you notice the orb at 1:17 in
No I didn’t, I’ll have a look 👍
I've looked several times, and saw nothing. Whereabouts in the frame was it? Left, right, top, bottom, centre?
It's very quick! You see it go past the fridge/freezer
criminal £25 for the boxing someones getting rich
I didn’t bother
I could almost smell the tiger bread 🤤🐯🥖🧀🧅🥩
It was good
