Thanks again to everyone who put suggestions in the comments on part 1 that contributed to this quiz. I've held quite a few back (otherwise it would go on for hours!), so get your ideas in if you have a song you'd like to see in a part 3 or even part 4 if this is popular enough 🙂
In the last couple of days (really!), I've rediscovered Misplaced Childhood. Anyone that hasn't heard it should give it a go - I'd say it's (Fish) Marillion's only true concept album and, whilst that single is a little poppy, one of their best. Good quizzes these. I would say that of course; I'm doing quite well on 'em!
I've spent some time today listening through it all again, and it really is absolutely incredible. Music is certainly not made in the same way anymore (sadly!).
keep it going... I know Abba have more songs with names in the title, and we just like the bout of nostalgia and good music. Also Britney's song... I didn't think of it as a name song, cause that's not what you get if you write it phonetically LOL.
Beth from Kiss, Hey there Delillah from Plain white Tees, Delilah from Queen....Hey Jude, Paul Revere, Jolene by Dolly Parton or Miley Cyrus, Come on Eileen, Cecilia, Ophelia, Proud Mary, Layla, Hello Mary Lou, Hey Joe.... and my list could continue... you should have another 2 parts to this series easily.
Ooh some were definitely tricky. I wish I'd kept count! Making Plans For Nigel by XTC is an awesome track! (Tenuous link: we knew Dave Gregory's mum & dad, they lived down the road and used to run a local amateur dramatics group) GOOD BYEEE! 👋👋

Boogie with Stu, Walter's Walk, Hats Off to (Roy) Harper (which is great) all Led Zeppelin. Jimmy Jazz by The Clash might throw people off.
Thanks! I'm really enjoying these
@@tuxedojunction9422 Excellent, I'm glad you're enjoying them 🙂
Thank you for including Kayleigh 🤗
41. Keep up the good work 👏 😊
@rachaeltrevorlyes9541 thank you very much 😊
any chance of part 2 please ...loved it

@noonthumbs2644 oooh that's cool! And it really is a great track, I absolutely should include it in the next one 😁🤫
3:40 Yoda by Weird Al… hold on wait… never mind the real song by the kinks.
@@jasont.dingess4985 😄 I missed a trick there!
40/60 for Team G&A from Belgium. Another suggestion for a themed quiz: cities.
16/30
@@dimasfantastic2847 super 👏
I got 43.

Good mix. We dropped 19 points overall. Weird how Eminem's voice has changed so much in the last 25 years, was unrecognisable to me!
I didn't get Houdini, Jenny from the Block, Brother Louie, Veronica, Adams Song, or Lacy. I went a bit flaky in the middle LOL

43/60 (+3)
Impressive as always. Thank you! 🙂
