I think I've already mentioned Hats Off to (Roy) Harper and Boogie with Stu by Led Zep. From Bowie there's John I'm only dancing, Jean Genie and Julie. Tom Sawyer is, I think, the only Rush song with a name in the title.
oooh wow.. I only got 7 points in this quiz, cause I knew some songs but couldn't name the artist or title LOL. As for suggestions, I can't remember what I already suggested the last time, but here's a few anyway: Abba - Nina pretty ballerina and Fernando; Modern Talking - Brother Louie, Angie's Heart and Maria; Blue System- Emanuelle, Sorry Little Sarah and Laila; Europe - Carrie; Falco - Amadeus and Jeannie; Beatles - Hey Jude; Bob Seger- Betty Lou's getting out; Fountains of Wayne - Hey Julie and Stacy's mom, Smokie - Oh Carol, Belinda and Living Next Door To Alice; The Kelly Family - Santa Maria; Brotherhood of Man - Angelo; A la Carte - Jimmy gimmie reggae; Dolly Dots - Layla; All Time Low - Dear Maria; Santana - Maria Maria; Harry Belafonte - Angelina and Mathilda ; Baltimora - Tarzan Boy; (and if you're doing international stuff) Alizee - Moi Lolita; Alvaro Soler- Sofia; Outlandish - Aisha; Dschinghis Khan - Loreley; Holograf - Romeo si Julieta; Kamar Bari - Maria Maria; Vanessa Paradis - Joe le taxi... and the list could go on and onn.... LOL
It was quite some time ago, but I've actually already made 2 'Locations In Song Titles' ruclips.net/video/dcO3LXumByg/видео.html 🙂So I think it's a great idea!
suggestions : Al Capone. Prince Buster Rock Me Amadeus. Falco Aretha. Rumer : 2011 Golden Balls (Mr Beckham to you) Bell & Spurling Bette Davis Eyes. Kim Carnes Biko. Peter Gabriel
I got 390 points. These are getting harder but I love that you're using so many suggestions from the comments. Some other good songs that I dont believe you've done yet are Sweet Baby James by James Taylor, San Luis by Gregory Alan Isakov, Julia by The Beatles, Weep for Jamie by Peter, Paul, and Mary, Heather by Conan Gray, Oliver James by Fleet Foxes, Juliet by Cavetown, Brandy (You're a Fine Girl) by Looking Glass, and Song to Woody by Bob Dylan.
29 😊 Suggestions below, from Team Lyes..... Down Easter Alexa - Billy Joel Mandy - Barry Manilow Lucy - Mud Sweet Caroline- Neil Diamond Caroline - Status Quo Benny and the Jets - Elton John Annie's Song - John Denver Oh, Carolina - Shaggy Dirty Diana - Michael Jackson Billy, Don't Be A Hero - Paper Lace A Boy Named Sue - Jonny Cash Oh, Donna- 10cc Hope that helps 😊
Thought I was going to do alright when I got the first two. Went downhill, steeply, from there!! By the way, London Calling is an excellent album. Not one of my top recommendations but well worth a listen. The White Stripes' live version of Jolene is comfortably my favourite. Fun fact: Elvis Presley's management approached Dolly Parton with a view to Elvis recording Jolene but Dolly told them to p!ss off when they demanded 50% of all royalties.
a few you may add to the next part ... Tommy Gun by the Clash Eloise by the Damned Bela Lugosi's Dead by Bauhaus Christine by Siouxsie and the Banshees Sheena is a Punk Rocker by the Ramones the Ballad of Dwight Fry by Alice Cooper Cold Ethel by Alice Cooper Jimmy Jimmy by the Undertones Julie the Schooly by the Macc Lads Sweaty Betty by the Macc Lads Hitler Rap by Mel Brookes
Please consider that no matter how easy or difficult you found this quiz, many, if not all, the songs came as recommendations from Part 1 & 2 🙂
