How do I connect a 3dof controller, lets say i have a Samsung ET-YO324BBEGUS Gear VR Controller. I do i connect it do vridge? Is there a button i have to press on the controller?

Is there a way to only connect a VRidge Controller? Without using VRidge Headset thingy? And what if i buy the controller, will i be able to use the controller forever? What i mean is, i'm using a free version of VRidge, will i be able to only connect the Controller and will it be time limited?

No, unfortunately you cant turn a phone into a 6dof controller

I have the vridge controllers app but for some reason it doesnt work i can move the fingers and use the buttons but not actually move the hands itself any fix for this?

Xbox controller don't have gyroscope, the sensor that tracks movement of the device.

If you want hand tracking for a Google cardboard headset I'd recommend looking at the leap motion. If you want a full 6DOF headset with hand tracking have a look at the Oculus Quest
