I think the Goldberg, refers to the sitcom The Goldbergs set in the 80s. Adam F Goldberg the creator was involved in making some GPK challenge coins a few years back, I guess that's why he's referenced in this set.
The sitcom subset is based on The Golbergs. A current show that is set in the 80s. The Rock card is Fraggle Rock. The colorful Lisa card is poking fun at Lisa Frank. Used to make stickers in the 80s.
Adam Goldberg has been a huge supporter and collector of GPK for years. You can catch him on the Facebook groups from time to time under his alas Kermit the Fonz. This is one of my favorite sets. Great rip.

Totally missed the Fraggle reference! Is the Goldbergs any good? There have been so many bad sitcoms that I don't even give them a chance any more
