- Downhill Mountain Biking VS Sur Ron X! This was my first time riding downhill MTB type trails and it was sooo much fun! I know the trails get so much work and effort put into building them for MTB so I tried my absolute best to be respectful and not ruin any of the jumps or trails and if I did I would fix them, also went on a day that there was no one else there :) But if you feel as though I should not be riding on MTB trails on my Sur Ron please kindly let me know, thank you 🤍

You acknowledge that the builders put a lot of work into the trails and then you ride them on your motorbike.Don't get me wrong, these types of bikes have their place and the riding is great. But why do you even need a Sur-ron on downhill trails?
i didn’t buy the sur ron specifically for down hill trails. just wanted to try it out. but i completely understand where you are coming from :)

Going down it ain’t much different than a MTB. As you don’t need to put a lot of gas it doesn’t damage the trails.
yeah mtb trails are fun, so you should encourage others to build dedicated trails for e-moto and maybe ebikes too. your e-moto and ebikes accelerate erosion exponentially due to weight, tire size, and throttle, to name a few (imagine a day on a trail with several emoto - lots of shovel work and time). i'm not hating on ebikes or emoto (they're the future), but mtb trails are for mountain bikes just like hiking trails are for hikers . thanks, keep sharing.

These connectors don’t care for water. Where issues happen often is the cables under the bash plate.

Thank you so much man! ❤️ and yeah the bike is still fully stock, probably will keep the power stock for a while and upgrade the brakes and a few other little things :)
good on you for Clearing up how to Respect Trails brother.. you should try a DH or mtb bike some time Light nimble a feeling that can never be replaced dont get me wrong I Love my Talaria but in a bit of a different way..

I wouldn’t use a leafblower on the bike because water will get into the bearings more easily but nice video tho

Would you recommend a sur Ron to someone that loves dirt bikes but never had one or rid one love the sur Ron content I’m looking into this or just a dirt bike
yeah i’d say it’s a great bike to learn on since it’s completely automatic with no gears and stuff only thing is. if you’re going to get a dirtbike in the future aswell getting used to the gears and relocation of the rear brake will be a little confusing at first. but since you have the experience of riding now you’ll probs pick it up sooner :)

What ever you do don't wash it when the motor is hot it will cause a vacuum in the motor and suck in water 🤙 I can't bring myself to wash mine with a hose

I don’t really use the throttle when going down :)

That's not cool at all man, you can clearly see the damage you're doing to the MTB trails that people have obviously put a lot of hard work and time into. Please take this riding somewhere that it is appropriate and keep MTBs on trails like this.
