- Insertion of a heat exchanger tube bundle utilizing custom fixtures and specialized rigging equipment. Inserting the bundle vertically allows for gravity to aid in the insertion in a shell with a clearance of less than 1/16" per side.

The uprighting fixture is a custom designed fixture for which calculations are performed to assure no undue stress is placed on the bundle through the entire procedure. The bundle is mounted in the fixture and secured without welding to the bundle itself. Custom designed hardware including fasteners are utilized. This reply is from Joseph Oat Corporation.
