Good looking body, no bearings is kinda a deal breaker for me, is that the Hobbywing MAX 10 system with the 3665SD motor? What KV motor did you go with?
I like the body also, looks like the old hatch back Audi from the 80’s, and yessir that is the hobbywing max10, I believe this motor was a 4000kv set up
Nice, rips well, body is a bit boxy for my tastes but I guess you could chuck something else on it. Take a gander at the new HNR Foxhound, Mitsi EVO body in red or white. Brushless 4000kV motor, it's like a Kyosho Fazer on steroids. Tomley just released a review it a couple of days ago too.
Oh yea I was checking that video out, it looks sick, I actually did a Subaru body for this car also, I figured when I was done driving with the stock body I would place the Subaru body on it as a shelf Queen
@@RockSideRC I'd love a Subaru body but am after a specific one, mid 90's like Colin McRae drove, quite easy to get the later versions but not so much that one. But it's hard to get much of anything here in New Zealand. I got the Foxhound delivered a few days ago, 50km easy enough, I need to take it somewhere with room to stretch it's legs and give it a good run, and that was only 2S too. It is hard to keep straight but I'm sure it will be lots of fun when I get it on the dirt. There's some good cars out there right now, the Rlaarlo XTS is fun too.
@WorkInLight Oh wow congratulations on the new foxhound, sounds like a beast on 2s, I agree I love the mid 90’s Subaru, that’s the one I have, it’s from Tamiya , I heard rlarrlo has been making some great stuff, I think I may pick something up from them soon and give it a try, I think my buddy picked up the 1/10 scale speed car they have, it looks sweet !
@@RockSideRC Rlaarlo are fun but they do have their issues, but most cars do I guess. For value for money from the offset, they're good, but you'll spend more on them and have some frustrations.
@WorkInLight Yeah I agree most cars have their fair share of pros/cons, thanks for the tip, I’ll retract my statement from before and stay away from them then lol 😂
Can’t wait till you can really open her up!
Yeah this thing is definitely pretty fast/fun
That actually looks pretty good. Does it have metal diff gears?
It looks like it’s probably pot metal material!
