That's awesome! Maybe in 2024 there will be a better option. But for now, congrats on the SOTA and POTA 2fer!!

Thanks! I learned by trial and error. I knew that there just had to be an easier way.

I'll have to give this a try next time I log a SOTA/POTA activation!

I wish there was something a little simpler, but it works. My understanding is that if it's a single reference P2P, you should be fine--the POTA system will catch it as long as it's within 15 minutes of each other. But if you or someone else are doing multiple parks, at once or a rove, then you definitely need everything logged correctly to get/give full credit. Personally, I like having separate logs after anyways.

Thanks, Lou! Hopefully it comes in handy for one of your activations.

Super helpful to me, I was going to load all from scratch. Since I used my mobile to log All QSOs I noticed that I cannot import the adi file in the PC and be able to load it.

I'm glad you found it helpful. I wish there was an easier solution, but this workaround is easier than doing or recreating multiple logs. Thanks for watching!

@@MikeN2MAK yeah, it's a decent workaround, but as you mention it doesn't fix the S2S / P2P issue. It gets even worse if you do WWFF at the same time.. I usually do a lot of manual cleanup afterwards

@@LB4FH If you start it as a SOTA log, then the S2S contacts are fine. You would only need to worry about manually adding P2P contacts after converting it to a POTA log. But still, it's not perfect. And then with WWFF or a contest, it gets more complicated. Everything is a compromise in ham radio, LOL.

@@MikeN2MAKYeah I'm definately going to try this the next time, not that I have that many SOTA / POTA overlaps near here

Interesting… Not that I can see myself doing any SOTA anytime soon… No summits in Delaware. LOL! 73!

There’s a fair amount of summits in NY, but where I am, many are in private property. I look for the few that overlap with POTA to make it easier.
