Gr 2 had me scared, up until the ego chapter it was kinda mid, but the ego chapter made the game so much better, I can't even decide if I like gr1 or gr2 more

It's just one song, it's not even 2 minutes long and just hearing it made me fall in love with this game, it has some flaws here and there, but it's already one of my favorite games of all time, i'm not kidding, the art style is gorgeous (i love cel-shaded graphics), the music is phenomenal, the gameplay is really good and the characters are amazing, especially Kat, she is awesome (i also love Raven, even if she didn't appeared too much), i hope the developers of gravity rush make more of this kind of games, the industry really need it.
Plus, this song is both "A red apple fell from the sky" and "douse shinundakara" together to make it even more perfect.
If you played both games and return back to the first one and start a new game you will realize the second game has been forshadowed since that red apple fell from the sky
Both games really give a sense of what could have been had the first game been released on the PS3 like it was originally intended. You can tell a lot of things in the second game(especially during the first half of it) were really meant for the first game, the concept art giving us clues such as Elektricitie supposedly being a boss in the first game, not to mention the story of Neu Heralion being covered in the Overture anime. It really makes you think this series would have gotten fat of Playstation actually put more effort into putting it out there. Yes it hot a remastered, an anime, and a sequel but that was years ago.
@@thirtysixviews The biggest issue was putting Gravity Rush initially on a console that no one *really* wanted. That being the ps vita. I'd like to think it would have sold better otherwise.

@@Sketch61762 Discovery of Gravitation doesn't have any lyrics. However, DoG is made from two instrumental versions of A Red Apple Fell From The Sky and Douse Shinundakara and *they* have official lyrics, so you can sort of superimpose them on to DoG.
The first two sets of lyrics are from the former and the second two from the latter.
Somehow this game always reminds me of France, from the artstyle to the soundtrack, cool.

After finishing GR2 this song is a whole lot more emotional.
I finished both Gravity Rush games today, and I must say. I am glad I was able to experience this game series, not only was it the highlight of my life for a while but it quickly became something I love deeply, memories I will never forget were made playing this game and I hope that I never forget them.
My only wish is that this game gets another chance, I wish more people knew about this game so that we could all share our appreciation. I'm devastated that the story is over for now, but I hope in the future we get another adventure with these amazing characters.
Always will we treasure this wonderful game.

My cousin starts Gravity Rush on her new psvita it was in december 2013 i was aside for watching her playing. I have now beated Gravity Rush 1 and 2 and damn... what both beautiful games. (except the end of the second game).

After completing the 2nd game, the theme at the beginning of this track really has such an emotional pull. This series has so many lighthearted and touchy moments

You can really feel a sort of airy floating vibe while it makes you feel like your world has suddenly expanded and was a lot wider than you actually assumed.
It's been 12 years since I first heard this track and I still return to it multiple times a year. I don't think I'll ever get over my obsession with it, there is genuinely no single other piece of music from any other game or movie I have ever heard that captivates me quite like this one does. It's pure orchestral fantasy magic.
I've grown up from middle school to my mid-20's listening to this and its variants dozens of times each, if not hundreds for at least this original version. The game it introduces has occupied my creative pursuits throughout all of it, one way or another. I love music and play violin because of this song, and my writing often draws inspiration from this wonderful little game it introduces. It's not a perfect game, neither of them are, but the story, the art, the world of Hekseville and this magical soundtrack all completely captured my imagination when I first experienced them and have never let go.
This is without a doubt my single favorite piece of music of all time. It's become deeply ingrained in who I am as a person in a way that no other song ever has, or I imagine ever will.
Discovery of Gravitation is a perfect song.
I remember playing this game when I was nine, I loved it until I got to a section I couldn’t beat and I forgot about it. I was scrolling on RUclips when there it is, I found the song again. I was nearly in tears upon hearing it again, a lost friend. Four years and so much changed. It’s been two years since rediscovering this gem and I listen to it to remember more simple times. No point to this comment except thanking the creator for making a masterpiece like this exist.

I miss this game series a lot. I wish i could relive the two games, heck even when I bought both of the games digitally (at a discount) I managed to get the physical copies of GRR and GR2 on PS4 at surprisingly not exhorbitant prices
Kohei Tanaka is amazing with his composing. I still love the soundtrack he made for Angelic Layer anime.

wow. i loved this game when i played it years ago on my vita. although, at the time i didn’t truly understand it, since i was around 8-9. the music makes me nostalgic
This gives me the feels... I could start dropping tears if I were a little emotional.
I came here because of Fanchen's piano playing, just recently discovered his channel bcz of the drama lmao
What a great soundtrack and game. It has its flaws, but the creativity and concept are wonderful, and I love that Kat is pretty much a regular girl, not some walking personality quirk or always sulking due to her amnesia like so many heroes. Plus and she has a pretty amazing fighting style. I goddamn hate Sony for saying that the sequel will be on PS4 and not the Vita, Kat was pretty much the mascot of the Vita, and I don't want to buy a damn paper weight to play it. I'll cave in eventually because this game deserves it, much more than other overhyped games that everyone forgot about in a month.

I first found this game on ps vita too in 2014 then i lost it and found out there was a second game i bough those 2 games on ps4 in 2018 immediately
I think I've finally discovered (other than gravitation) why I like this song so much. It reminds me of Epic Mickey, which contains the imagination behind Disney's repertoire of creation; and the existence of that fantastical, cartoonic world beyond our own.

Holy shit the start of this song hits me like a fucking truck, then the rest of the song lulls me back into quaint joyful serenity, and the end makes me want to play both games all over again.
Downloaded GR2 for free on PS+ on 2019. I thought it was fun but I left it for other games cause after 6 hours of play I still couldn't dig the controls. last week I gave it a chance after finishing Nioh. 35+ hours played and finished the game. I always have this empty feeling after finishing a really good game, and that's what I felt after finishing this game. Now I have to buy GR1 and hoping for a GR3 for PS5.
