I write "G-d," "Chr-st," and "Chr-stian" with dashes out of deep reverence for the sacredness of these names. In Jewish tradition, the name of G-d is considered so holy that it should not be written in a way that could be inadvertently desecrated, especially if it were to be discarded or destroyed. Similarly, I write "Chr-st" with a dash to maintain respect for the title and to avoid diminishing its sanctity. This practice reflects my commitment to honoring the divine and recognizing the importance of these names in my faith.
