No, Edgeworth is how you build it up in a good way. In his first case, he's pretty scummy, using underhanded tricks like the infamous "updated autopsy report" and covering for Redd White, but then, we start to get hints that there's more to him than just a desire to win, with the reveal of his and Phoenix sharing a past, the "unnecessary feelings" line, etc, and most importantly, his moment in Turnabout Samurai where he sides with you to uncover the truth, all leading perfectly into Turnabout Goodbyes, never mind his continuing arc in the rest of the Trilogy and the Investigations games. They tried to recreate the same arc with Nahyuta, but it was just done way worse (Honestly, he draws from a lot of different Prosecutors' story beats/gimmicks, but just does them worse; He's a previously-unmentioned foreign adoptive sibling of a known character, but while Franziska slotted neatly into Edgeworth's pre-existing backstory, there was nothing in either AJ or DD that suggested Apollo was raised by foreign revolutionaries, he has super-long animations before refuting you, but while Godot always dropped bombshells that completely upended the trial and felt deserving of such dramatics, Nahyuta would pause for like ten seconds only to spout more of the same inane religious bullshit as before, etc), the biggest problem being the lack of a "Turnabout Samurai" moment prior to the endgame where we see that glimmer of good in him. He remains an unambiguous villain right up until the final hour of the game, and before the final case, if anything, he just gets progressively worse. It's a shame, too, because the writers had the perfect opportunity to show such moments of good by taking advantage of the "two countries" gimmick of SoJ. Nahyuta is allegedly only an asshole because Ga'ran is blackmailing him, right? So when he's abroad, out from under her thumb, they could've had him be a nice, agreeable, Klavier-esque Prosecutor to show his true self, while also building up a mystery around why he's such an asshole in Khura'in. But no, regardless of where he is, he acts like a tool throughout the whole game, and in fact, arguably his worst action (Deliberately using Athena's trauma and sensitive hearing against her to try and trigger a panic attack) happens in Japanifornia. Oh, not to mention, it's also in the penultimate case of the game, right before his so-called "redemption arc". Compare that to Edgeworth's behavior in Turnabout Samurai, and you'll see what I mean.
After Watching the prologue i definitely agree But i feel like it would be good for cutscenes i feel like voice clips with constant pauses in between would be annoying

I love how his arm trembles when he puts his fist to his chest. Nahyuta is grieving the loss of his father, who loved him and supported him to the bitter end. And now more than ever, he plans on honoring his father's efforts and freeing their kingdom from Ga'ran's hands, for Dhurke's defiant spirit lives through him now.
As a lowly watcher, I was siding with His Holiness, Nahyuta at least 95% of the time, even during Maya’s case; he is *that* important to me. But during this, well it was nice to have him on the side I SHOULD have been rooting for all along.
Based, also I feel the deep psychological despair and pain of nahyuta’s head and heart. It is time for us both to forgive our own past conducts, leave behind this sense of resignation and start leading the path for each of our own future’s! For that is my resolve! I’ve no doubt all 3 of them (spoils) feel the same way too. When all is said and done anyway.

This scene is when I finally find Nahyuta slightly less unbearable. That man spends almost the whole game acting all holier than thou and calling you a filthy piece of s**t who deserves to go to deepest pit of hell just because you're a lawyer. He'd long since lost the right to say that sentence when he yielded and became Ga'ran puppet, not even dreaming to go up against her, even after seeing his father's dead body. Apollo was the one who truly carried Dhurke soul with him.
I mean... he said all of that basically because he was Ga'ran's puppet. I would not be surprised if he was given a literal script to read from. He sacrificed a lot for his little sister, and I don't think that gets acknowledged enough.
The glove hid the symbol of the dragon (which stands for the revolution). So him throwing the glove away means that he ends up embracing the part of him that is a rebel and that he stops trying to suppress and hide this fact.
To add to this, the glove is likely the symbol of Ga'ran, the woman who looks like a spider. Throwing it away shows that he's no longer a puppet for Ga'ran (Ga'ran blackmailed him into working for her).

whenever they do the "dragon never yields" gesture, when their hand starts to move to their chest, there's this little tic that sorta stops them from doing it, but nevertheless, they still do it. i think this detail really just hits home man, clearly represents "a dragon never yields" perfectly
