      He's pretty damn good, but idk if it's a tech problem or him just being a bit tired, but he doesn't sound as clear or skips parts towards the last songs. CJ in overall sounded much more clear imo. But still huge props to Will, he's a monster!

    Unpopular opinion on this thread: Will isn't replicating anyone else's vocals.
    Explanation: He just sounds like himself on every song and that's a great thing. It just shows his mastery of his craft. You can tell he's put years into honing his vocal ability to the point that he can do just about anything. Basically, he doesn't need to sound like anyone else, because he's absolutely mind blowing on his own.

    Will is legit the perfect vocalist for this band. He is simultaneously perfect at replicating both CJ AND Tom on their respective songs, and then having his own style on their newest songs. So stoked for the future of these guys!

    The craziest part about this whole performance is that it was fucking brutal in that venue. I’m 90% sure that the oxygen levels were low in there- I felt like I was gonna pass out before they even came on and if you look at people in the crowd during the performance you can see how tired and dazed a lot of people are. Yet STILL Lorna Shore gave the performance of a lifetime. Absolute masterclass of a band, stoked to see them getting the recognition they deserve.

    I love how at pop shows if someone jumps on stage they get tackled and dragged out by security, when it happens at metal shows the band just takes a couple steps to the side so they can stage dive. Metal musicians really are some of the coolest people on earth.

      He seems like a super cool guy..I saw a few interviews with him and he seems very down to earth. I say I haven’t been scared of a vocalist in a very long time because the last time was in 2001 watching Lamb of Gob right after they changed their name from Burn the Priest. I’d never heard of them before until I saw them on the Metallenium tour. Randy came out with a patch of hair on his back screaming like a demon. I was amazed and scared for some reason lmao. I wound up meeting him after the show and he was super chill and signed my ticket...I got the same feeling seeing Will. Fucking awesome!

And I say this as someone who doesn’t even listen to Lorna Shore or Deathcore in general. So I’m not some Will fan boy. Dude is just an absolute beast and a true master of his craft.

      @@GoldNettle only listening to the first song and they sound spot on, wouldn’t blame them going all over the place after multiple songs, Tim from make them suffer used to change the blasts to singles to keep his stamina up for long sets. Dave and gee from dragon force and whoever played with dimmu in 2011 are honestly the few drummers I’ve heard play extended sets at 200+ while doing vocals to a t

It's one thing to sound incredible with a studio recording doing multiple takes of each section, but try doing that live for 40+ minutes! There are many talented vocalists in metal, but this was exceptionally good for live and very close to their EP release I would say.

      This band has like 4-5 songs that are arguably Top 10 songs in deathcore of all time….To The Hellfire, Death Portrait, Immortal, This Is Hell, And I Return To Nothingness. Compare them to all of the classics from the last 15 years to now and more than half of LS’s discography blows them all out of the water….insane

    Travis Ryan really invented the style of vocal with the tongue curling and making those creature noises.
    It's great to see other bands taking it on and building on it. This band is fucking inhuman and 1000x better with their new singer, and sky is the fucking limit to where they'll go next! Incredible!

    Will is a absolute beast. But don’t forget how technically difficult it is to play these songs. On those 7 strings guitar like that. And don’t forget the drummer who needs to go ultra fast for an hour.
    The whole band deserves some mad credits. They are all on beast mode.

    Part of me suspected that the vocals at the end of To The Hellfire may have been slightly edited in the recorded version... glad i was wrong 🤯 jesus christ what a fucking beast. That shit is just insane. Will is a fucking demon.

    I am new to Lorna Shore... Not easy for me to jump from Chester Bennington to Trevor Wentworth to Will Ramos.... I hear new songs of these guys everyday, and then I look up for their live versions.....
    Since I am used to the versatility of the other two guys, I can say, Lorna Shore is fucking brutal on stage....

    Bro Will is making me fall in love with this genre again. I never got why people were obsessed with CJ, he has good tone for that one scream he does but I much prefer a vocalist that had more variety, not to mention the tunnel throats are done by a lot of vocalists now

      I’ve always wondered why CJ is so beloved for one of the same reasons. He has little to no variety. He does okay at the scream he does do but he has absolutely no range or variety. Will has variety & range like no one else expect maybe Dickie Allen & Ben Duerr. He’s unreal.

    Will's vocals really remind me of Travis Ryan's vocals in Cattle Decapitation. What an absolute beast of a vocalist, this goes so hard.

      I didn't think that until I read your comment. His gurgles and highs are nearly identical with Travis. He even does that raptor scream with the tunnel throats. Holy shit

      @@jamescables5824 I'd be shocked if Will didn't cite him as an influence. I've seen the vocal style referred to as some critics as 'pseudo-singing' and I think it's a great term. By far one of my favourite vocal styles, I hope to one day see Lorna Shore live!
