    Doesn't seem like there is anything stopping it from shifting forwards and backwards since straps are straight out to the sides. The vehicle would not shift far, but any shifting is bad as over time moving loads tend to loosen tiedowns over time.

      The down force of each strap keeps it in place. It works.

      Yeah not really. Please don't use this method

      Exactly how these straps are intended to be used😂🤷🏼‍♂️. Stop commenting on videos you don’t know shit about.🤘🏻

      @@808chevykev. Absolutely works. Use them all the time with no issue. If you have a truck shifting you need to learn how to drive while loaded or don’t load at all.

      There's nothing keeping the vehicle held from rocking forward and back.
      Not good at all. Just tiring it straight down tight doesn't do that.
      It's simple physics.
      Learn something. Lol

    What would you recommend if it's a manual car and the e break on the car is busted?

      Slap it in 1st gear silly

      Reverse is usually a lower gear. Always use the lowest gear

    would you trust this with a ~6000lbs truck? I've strapped to the frame/axles before and it's not always the best once things start moving. This seems like a better way, I'd go a step further and put the strap through the hole on the hook, but is this method more for a ~4000lbs vehicle or have you done this with a heavier vehicle?

    • @pullenjo
      @pullenjo 2 месяца назад

      No don’t put it through the hook as the weld is only small and has a chance of the hook separating and strap breaking free this way is so much better. Even so Y straps that are designed for the way he’s strapping it down are inexpensive

      @@pullenjo yup, I kinda thought of that after posting. Even just probably not worth the risk of wearing through the strap. I better not cheap out if I plan on moving heavier stuff and just buy the right equipment lol
