I've seen the Decemberists 3 times now (2004, 2006, 2022) and now I need to see Offa Rex. Liz Chaney is amazing!

Listened to this on the BBC radio 2 folk show ....... by mistake I might add .... totally fell in love with it , didn’t realise this sort of music could sound so good .... respect....👍
Even more transcendant than the verson done way back in time by Maddy Prior and Steeleye Span, from "Below the Salt." And as if I couldn't love the Decemberists more, now with this powerhouse female vocal, well, it's pretty much a dream come true.

This is very good but I can't help but pine for the slightly more subtle version which I heard years ago when I bought Below The Salt by Steeleye Span.... Maddy Prior sings this so beautifully.
