in regards to the rappers vs athletes podcast and why the athletes seemed to have leap frogged the rappers in the podcast landscape. It's definitely true there's a fraternity in sports that doesn't just restrict the benefits to their respective league, it's across all sports.

It's the same with every industry: people are out there "accepting grilled cheese" partly because they need it, partly because they go cheap to get the business or the job, but mostly it's because they don't know any better and don't know their value. Too many veterans are holding onto the numbers that newer people should be commanding because they're stingy with information. Then they get mad when the newer people are lowballing and messing up the value for everyone 🤣🤷♂️ There's also the point where some newer people shouldn't be commanding the higher number because they don't have the experience yet....

I don't think they understand how many athletes have podcast that aren't doing any numbers. Just cause you are/were a athlete doesn't automatically mean you gonna go get those numbers same as a rapper. It's a very small percentage of guys who went successful with podcasting after or during their career.
