I got my first pair of hippo hands in the early 80s along with an apple warmer. As long as the road was clear, I rode.

Nice to see you guys browsing the Internet looking for videos. I can ride my bike any day of the year now. I rode for an hour in 14 degree temps using summer gloves and didn't feel any cold. It's amazing.
These things totally rock. It is horrible to ride with cold hands. As unaesthetic as they are, the functionality is on point. I like that the Hippo Hands fit over my big hand guards, and they stay "open" while riding, so you can take your hand out of the hand cover and get it back in without problems.
I've found the Klim Inversion gloves work great for me in the 20s. Below that, I drive my truck. Certainly function over form, but I guess if they work...
I bought the cheap amazon model. Used them to 40degrees or so as I always like to wear thin gloves. Not as nice as your hippo hands but for as often as I use them, a good deal.

Thanks Adam, I rode 2 weeks ago in Central PA and it was about 30 degrees, but much colder on the bike, and my hands froze the rest of my body was fine even with the OEM WS on the F750GS. Were you able to use the Hippo Hands much lately? Do they work well?
Used them down to 18F this year. They work well, a tiny bit of cold air gets through but if you have normal 3-season gloves and turn on heated grips, it's a godsend truly.
@@AdamChandler86 how cold do you think you could ride with the hippo hands on a long (3 hours plus) ride if you don't have heated grips?

Would it work if my bike dont have hand guard?
It does rely on having a firm hand guard to mount and keep shape.
