starting a business at 25: my journey

- I’ve always dreamed of starting my own business but often struggled to take action. For some reason, it just never clicked-until ceramics came into the picture. With ceramics, everything felt natural and enjoyable, unlike other hobbies where I’d hoped to make a profit. This one is truly special to me. While my current focus is on ceramics, I do have plans to expand my product range in the future. For now, I’m really savoring this journey and excited to share my process with you. I didn’t dive into too much detail because I wanted to start posting here on RUclips without overthinking it. So, no pressure, just sharing what I love. Thanks for watching!

as another small business owner who’s been scared to put herself out there this was the sign i needed 🥹 proud of uuu and can’t wait to watch your journey unfold 💗
Since quitting my day job, I've had a major mindset shift and decided to focus fully on my goals. I'm giving myself until the end of the year to accomplish what I’ve set out to do. Starting this business felt like the green light I needed, and I finally gave myself permission to pursue what I’ve always wanted. I’m so motivated now, especially knowing that I don’t want to go back to that job anymore. putting yourself out there is scary, but it’s amazing how much support we can find in each other. Let’s keep pushing past the fear and celebrating each win, big or small. We’ve got this, and I’m rooting for you all the way! 💪✨

Honestly same I'm always so scared of putting myself out there... Definitely doing my own buiz beginnings vid soon ❤️❤️
gorgeous and beautiful and gorgeous 😍 ❤️ 💕 love you
Age aside, I know it's society's norm to pressure individuals to achieve so much, especially in the rat race. But seeing you share your small business journey really inspires me. It shows that age shouldn't be an issue but rather something to look forward to in life, especially when it comes to self-growth, discovering yourself, and pursuing your dream career!! All the best to your small business, I'm sure 5 years from now you'll look back and be proud of yourself too!!
I completely agree, age is just a number, and it’s never too late to pursue your dreams and continue growing. Your support and positivity are so motivating, and I’m excited to see where this journey takes me. Thank you so much for your kind words! It really means a lot to hear that my journey can be inspiring to others.
I can never relate to any videos more than this one. I am 24 and starting my small business while also a graduating student. I'm looking forward for the growth of our small businesses! Good luck to the both of us!^^
pouring your heart into a small business is no easy task. but let’s keep supporting each other and celebrating every little win along the way. I’m genuinely excited to see how far we both go. Good luck, and here’s to the growth of our businesses and all the success ahead!
Idea: do some research on cool local (or not so local) coffee shops or kick-knack stores. Find the ones you like and the ones you think will like your products. Then do research on how to do a “product pitch”/negotiate. Your goal will be to sell this coffee shop a bulk order of custom mugs/trinkets for x amount of money. This will 1) give you a clear sense of direction, 2) put the business back in your hands (instead of waiting around for someone to notice you), and 3) give you a exact profit number
Omg this is so inspiring. I’ve always felt that am behind everyone else. Most of my friends have actual careers while am here with random jobs. I’ve always been artsy and I’ve always wanted to do something meaningful with my art but am my own enemy in never starting. This video makes me hopeful to push myself and not have a fear of anything. I hope your business thrives! 💕
I’ve been in that situation for years, and honestly, there were times I did give up. But I always found a way to get back up because this dream means too much to me. I know I have the talent and potential, and I can’t let my skills go to waste. I realised that putting myself out there is the only way to create the opportunities I need. I really hope you find the courage to take that first step and truly believe in yourself. Once you start believing in what you’re capable of, you'll be amazed at how people start showing up to support you, often when you least expect it. Trust me, you’ve got this, and you’re not alone on this journey! Let’s connect, I’d love to support you too, and we can grow together!
Omg same! Art is something I’ve always wanted to do but sadly a lot of people don’t see it as a career option so I’ve been doing random jobs just to find fulfillment but i always end up coming back to art when I’m in-between jobs. So keep going!! 😊
@@Kaylan0713 We can't ignore what's in front of us forever. We always question ourselves what we really want but we tend to avoid the answer, deep inside we know it. As someone who dropped out 3 times, tried different things, hobbies, anything, trying to find something that aligns with me but somehow I always end up doing art.
I can relate so much. The whole first year of my small business I basically spend the days driving myself further into procrastinating, self-doubsts and art block. Not even sure if I had a little burnout at some point. Everything until I made peace with myself not always being perfcet and being okay with changes of plans. I think the first months are needed to jsut figure out those things. Being your own boss needs to be learned and I think you're doing great! Just keep going, it will just get easier! I am in my second year now and looking back I think I really needed all that time and it actually ade me move forward even though it didn't feel like it in that moment. Wish you all the best and can't wait to see your business grow. It will get there for sure! Your products look great and your storytelling is awesome💚
You have no idea how big of an impact this video makes! I am also in the process of creating my small business and everything you said here is valid, and I feel it too!💗You lifted up my spirits to different heights and made me appreciate the journey I am currently on. I have no doubt that YOUR DREAMS WILL COME TRUE SOONER RATHER THAN LATER ✨✨✨
Starting a small business is definitely a rollercoaster, but knowing that we’re inspiring and lifting each other up makes it all the more worth it. Keep pushing forward, and trust that all your efforts will pay off. I’m cheering you on, and I truly believe our dreams will come true sooner than we think!
You’re such an inspiration, we are rooting for you. ❤ don’t give up, you can do it❤

Best of luck ❤❤❤❤
thank you so much 💗✨
I’m 25 Hayst I guess this is my wake up call
How did you market your brand.
I mainly post on TikTok, sharing my journey, and it seems like people are more interested in the behind-the-scenes than the final product itself. I use storytelling to get people emotionally invested in my content. It really helps draw them in and keeps them engaged.

The S and X of your voice are very high pitched, it's annoying to watch, I believe you can improve it by editing the audio in your video editor. good luck

💌 hey just wanted to spread Good News: God loves u so much that he sent His one and only son, Jesus Christ, to sacrifice his Life and so pay the penalty that we deserved for our sins (which is death) and raised him up from the dead 3 days later so that whoever puts their Faith in What Jesus has done on the cross and repents/ turns away from their sins, will be saved and have eternal Life with God ˚₊‧꒰ა ₍ᐢ. .ᐢ₎ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚
We are all sinners and therefore deserve hell & eternal seperation from God but because of Gods grace we can be forgiven and saved and spend eternity with him 🐑🪽 Have a good day ♡
I love this, your energy is so soft and lovely Thankyou for your journey💕😊
This video was such a great summary of all the hardwork I've witnessed you produce over the last few months on Tiktok! I'm so lucky to have found you when you only had a few hundred followers and now hitting over 1K. Sending you love and support always
appreciate you a lot!! You've been by my side since day one, and I'm so grateful to have found such supportive people who were once strangers but are now my friends.
