Citroen c1, Peugeot 107 and the Toyota Aygo are the same cars. Fantastic little cars, reliable and cheap to run. I have seen ones with 200k on the clock and still run like new. Timing chain so no cambelt to worry about too. Cannot rate these little cars enough
Well said. I used to have a 107 as my first car 10 years back then got the last facelift 107 a few years back and a C1. Nice nippy cars and cheap to run and insure. Ended up getting a VW Up now which ive got mixed views on. Just got it as its more equipped than the top spec 107 i had.
That ABS fault was most likely caused by a battery issue. Considering how these vehicle barely gets driven before it’s sold and is parked up for weeks or months on occasion. The battery tend to go flat even more so during winter.
The C1 is very good car and are always low on oil they do drink oil very normal on them engines if left unchanged for awhile. it shouldn’t take too long to sell. And it was a very good idea to paint the bumpers they are very reliable cars chain ⛓️💥 driven, Citroen C1 Toyota AGO Suzuki Alto Nissan pixo Peugeot 107 all share the same engine it’s based on the AGO. So don’t even worry about it bro 😎
And just a little heads up the ceramic coating you are using it’s not the proper ceramic coating you want to be using for longer lasting protection use proper ceramic coating!! Keep up the good work bro. Looking forward to the next upload 🎉
@@ShaksAutos to be honest no idea bro I’ve never ever used them before but bought a car with it on and it’s like a layer of lacquer completely different to the spray ones you are using. I use the same one you use and it’s not that great to be honest. Keeps my car clean for a week and it’s a full on rewash. The proper stuff lasts for like 12 months and you can just rinse the car with a very minimal wash. And I’m only saying use it because when you sand the headlight it doesn’t seem to last long. But look into it was see what I’m talking about I’m not expert lol. As always bro keep up the good work.
Personally I would not had the bumper repainted but you got a very good price in my opinion. I think you sell your self short, I think you would have done a good enough job your self, by sanding down then primer, then aerosol can. When I buy a car at that price point I do not expect perfection I’m surprised they are selling at that kind of price, as I bought a Peugeot 107 for £600 off auto trader but it was 2007 and with a small dent but mechanical very good, which is what I needed. Then added the exact wheel trims you did and got it serviced. I can vouch they are good reliable cheap motoring especially for 1st time buyer Great job!
To be honest I did have the idea of doing it myself but I don’t usually do these cars with smaller margins. I didn’t wanna mess it up and have them resprayed which would’ve cost me more. I took the safer option to get them done by a painter. I can’t bring myself to sell the car with faded bumper, it will give me a bad look and give people the opportunity to low ball me. This was an experiment and I’m happy to say it won’t happen again 😅
Nice to see you flip a car i have personal experienced owning. I believe these engines drink a bit of oil from my memory and when getting miles put on. Apart from that they are very reliable cars with the Peugeot 107 and toyota aygo triplets. Would also comment about the airbox looking to have overspray from the front bumper respray which i would never let a potential buyer see as would make them think of accident repair
I think these are cheap cars that are fast in selling what is my fast price range in UK did I take a lot from you in the process of selling and preparing a car thanks bro ❤🎉❤🎉😊
Another very insightful video Shaks! I hope the higher Christmas Google ad prices are rewarding your channel efforts! In a new car repair/re-sale video or in video on its own, could you go over how to use BCA car auction Website, what the competitors are to BCA, what "CAP Clean" means? Cover if people need to form a UK limited company or not, or if they can use a sole trader business to get access. Maybe consider covering if BCA still runs "MyBCA" program and how that affects the prices you can get on BCA. You briefly showed us your AutoTrader listing, and from there, I can see you formally started your car repair/sale efforts from July 2022 (via Falken/Umota) and then formed a secondary company, GTS, in May 2023. Could you go over why you opted for a UK limited company, what happened when your first company dissolved, and what made you move from sole trader business to an UK limited company? Did you start as a sole trader or did you immediately go into car reselling business as an UK limited? Could you consider going through your first few BCA orders as you were learning this business, and explaining why you chose those starter cars? Can you highlight to us what the biggest lemons/failed car purchases were for you? Which car brands/models cause you to avoid them (and explain why you avoid them, is there any cars/models which cost too much to repair versus their resell value)? This may help people understand how much effort it takes to do this, what issues/mistakes you encountered on your journey, and maybe give them confidence in trying their first few car resells via £500-800 auctions. I appreciate the fresh videos, keep them coming! If I mentioned anything private, then please delete my comment as needed.
The first company was registered before I was ready to start trading on my own so I had to close it due to inactivity. I will soon do a full breakdown video on how to start trading from scratch. If you need help with anything dm me on Instagram.

Couldn't agree more! There is one on autotrader with 189k miles. That’s crazy for a 1L engine.

Ayy another video :) also tbh I think the stock colour silver wheel caps look much better tbh
I think so too! But they were badly curbed. Had to be replaced.
@@ShaksAutos yeah 100%. I hate the trend of blacking out your car for the sake of it. Most of the time it looks mid lol
I have been watching your videos while i was in Nigeria. I'll be in the UK hopefully soon. I enjoy every bit of this video
Thank you I appreciate that 🙏🏼
Doing a very thorough, professional job on the car. Good content as well.

Great point! Thank you 🙏🏼
