Kind of the whole point; it's highly implied Tai Lung was actually holding back the entire fight, since he didn't use his nerve attack until _AFTER_ he got back up to the other side. The momeht he _DID_ start going all out (using the nerve attack), the Five were taken out easily, showing they never really were a threat to him.
Yah he might been holding back and tanked their blows so he can observe their capabilities, to see what the students of Shifu came after him were capable of But also like the cat he is, was playing with his food

did anyone else notice how powerful Tigress's first strike is? she goes from kicking Tai Lung from the end of the bridge back to like 80 bridge steps forward all within the same jump. (unless she did another movement off-screen, which is unlikely)
Bro wasn’t even trying, he parried most of tigress’s attacks and they didn’t even faze him at all, they’re panting by the end and he literally isn’t he’s just stood there mocking them and just one shotted them, he wanted so see what Shifu taught them, and he then bodies them with a move Shifu didn’t show them, cold
Another reason why Oogway was right about his Dragon Warrior choice. The Furious 5 might have had a better chance to defeat Tai Lung if after Tigress jumped out to kick him, Crane could have just flew over and picked her up; the rest of them didn't have to hold the bridge for her. Huge missed opportunity for them, since they weren't quick enough in battle.
@@nuntiuso7347 They made up for it later. The turning point where they 'beat' Tai Lung was great teamwork. Tigress signalling Mantis when everyone had regrouped. Imagine If Tigress went alone lmao.
I like how you didn't cut the "our battle will be legendary" line
Tigress knew tai lung was good, but she didn't know he was on a while other level. Even without the nerve attack he could still wipe the floor with them using just kung fu
Usually when a villain keeps heros alive it leads to their downfall. I like how it made no difference this time
I felt like they did nothing to him
Kind of the whole point; it's highly implied Tai Lung was actually holding back the entire fight, since he didn't use his nerve attack until _AFTER_ he got back up to the other side. The momeht he _DID_ start going all out (using the nerve attack), the Five were taken out easily, showing they never really were a threat to him.
True but they situation was like a gang of kids fighting a professional fighter
They did on the bridge, but he is tough.
Yah he might been holding back and tanked their blows so he can observe their capabilities, to see what the students of Shifu came after him were capable of
But also like the cat he is, was playing with his food
2:26 when you tired of fighting so you switch to creative mode
This scene is so freaking awesome!!! Tai Lung is such a badass
Tai Lung and Battle Beast carry the same energy. Constantly ready for smoke like a blunt that's already rolled.
Finally, a video with comments
Tai Lung:"Our battle will be legendary!"
(Tigress roars)
00:17 could've let the bridge fall and let Crane carry Tigress back up 🤷♂️
It's no fun without suspense now is it
@@isaiahsutton5596 but like what was the point of cutting the bridge if they’re just gonna hold it together
İts a movie
Well he could just grab the ropes and swung his way back up like he does later in the same scene
would it even matter ? And we Wouldn't get this amazing fight
Exactly my thoughts
I forgot the tigers name but she got skill
It’s just tigress
All world gaming kung fu panda 2
1:21, Neely cried due to Viper’s scream. Nobody hurts out slithering queen
I think that was Monkey making... well monkey sounds.
You hear it again at 1:40
Tai Lung could have taken a bit more damage from them hits but the damage he put on them was perfect
I adore everything about this scene: the music, the animation, the action, the background, the dialogue. It's superb! It reminds you of just how great an artform animation is in the hand of talented creators.
Mantis is the true dragon warrior holding that bridge
i haven’t seen this movie in like 6 years. having rewatched this movie today, i cannot even describe the level of shock i experienced watching this scene again. the action is exhilarating and the attention to detail for tai lung and the furious five is so cool.
did anyone else notice how powerful Tigress's first strike is? she goes from kicking Tai Lung from the end of the bridge back to
like 80 bridge steps forward all within the same jump.
(unless she did another movement off-screen, which is unlikely)
I just realized him saying “our battle will be legendary” is him saying “are you 5 even here right now”
Monkey's hit shouldve counted as a crit with that quick flash.
I wonder what would have happened if they put mantis in the field
Furious 5:
Tigress-Extremely Strong
Monkey-Critical Fighter
Crane-Aerial Attacker
Viper-The Gripper
Mantis-Lightning Speed with muscles
Almost at 200 subs CONGRATS
Thx
Anyone else wish Mantis could've got some hits in
oh yeh tigress
Yh but still wasn’t enough for tai lung
Actually he would've just grabbed the falling bridge ropes and swung back just like he did later
That wouldn't have meant anything
@@kc_boii7159 Perhaps. But the point is the Furious 5 didn't make the best decisions under pressure.
@@nuntiuso7347 that I can agree on
@@nuntiuso7347 They made up for it later. The turning point where they 'beat' Tai Lung was great teamwork.
Tigress signalling Mantis when everyone had regrouped. Mantis jolting the bridge, unbalancing Tai Lung. Monkey hitting Tai Lung just in time to capitalise on that. Everyone else continuing to dogpile Tai Lung.
Crane cutting one rope to restrain him. Tigress severing the last one and Mantis pulling everyone back immediately after.
Perfect timing
I like how tai lung only beat up the female members of the furious five (tigress and viper) then after that he paralyzed not only the girls but the boys too.(except crane)
He did beat up crane pretty badly but it was off screen
Tigress was the only one to endure 1vs1 fight with tai long. All the others were terrified to even trow punches with him. She is on another level
Viper was beating his ass for a hot minute compared to to tigress
@@jasonmartial113whatcha talking about , she just used his own hand for like 2-3 punches using her natural flexibility before he grabs her neck and chokes her out
@kc_boii7159 well that's her technique "Puppet of Death". She doesn't have limbs. So she can use her enemies limbs in her favor.
@@kc_boii7159she wasn’t chocking her out.
This is basically like the Turtles vs Shredder.
Tigress wanted to go alone🤣😭
Tai Lung was an amazing villain👏
2:20 Tai Lung kicking the Furious Five out of Kung Fu Panda 4
this battle will forever be legendary
2:31 the finishing blow
I do wanna note this: Viper got beaten up extremely hard by Tai lung, there were visible scars all over her body after the fight, meaning Viper was probably beaten up pretty badly, she also got a minor bruise.
Shifu taught you well.

.
But he didn’t teach everything.
COLD🥶
Damn, half health. They really squad wiped the minute Tai entered second phase
I love it bro and new subscriber
The furious five is definitely no match for tai lung.
They all forgot that Tai Lung was Shifu’s first student
Man. This is legit madara vs 5 kage.
0:27 I like how you skipped it it sound like tai lung is talking about him and tigress
1:40
tai lung is the only villain of Kung Fu Panda who says Po's name.
No one:
The comments:”Notice how Tai Lung-“😂😂
Hella Splinters and rope burns from that kick 0:55 😂😂😂
I hate the "for kids" videos where you can't comment
Why did Tai Lung sound like a bear at 1:41?
1:12-1:14 Stop hitting yourself! Stop hitting yourself! Stop hitting yourself!
Perfect
0:30 , 0:40, 0:51
I want to see Tai Lung vs General Kai The Supreme Warlords of all China, Master of Pain animation tho.
Tai lung is a beast
Definitely
Literally
still couldnt beat po.
@@devoted8652 Lemaw plot armour hits hard on Po.
0:27 *OUR BATTLE WILL BE LEGENDARY* your welcome :]
RIP Monkey since he apparently died and we all saw his death as kids
Imagine them battling All 3 Tai Lung, Lord Shen, & Kai.
What i'm trying to understand is, at the end, how did he swing from the rope to the other side without being seen ?
Did he used misdirection or something ?
Finally a worthy opponent our battle will be legendary
It only took him 3 seconds to start spanking tigress
Nintendo "finally a worthy opponent our battle will be legendary
Wonder if Tigress from Kung Fu Panda 3 would be able to match Tai Lung in strength. She seems to have become stronger judging by how she fought against Kai
KFP 3 tigress definitely would’ve won against tai lung cause she had access to chi and also she advanced in kung fu and was aware of his nerve attacks
2:08 that was fine scene
Imagine this fight but the furious 5 and tai lung are replaced with the avengers and green goblin
Avengers for Green Goblin? Bro Hulk, Thor or Iron Man alone would no diff him lol

*Furious Five* *VS* *Tai* *Lung*

Finally the comments are ON, everyone should know that this is the greatest fucking fight scene ever in kung fu movie history the symbolism of the bridge and tension of the five holding it is fucking legendary. They just don’t make fights like this anymore.
