Wow, I know this is old, but this is really awesome to know! Thank you for showing us the drive and what it’s like, very helpful! My FJ is pretty wide as they go, so hopefully it doesn’t get too scratched up😅
My wife and I honeymooned on Oregon in 2016 and attempted to see Abqiqua Falls. I had info that said the falls was only .8 miles from the trailhead. The info I didn't have was that the trailhead was at the bottom of this very rough road. We parked our Kia Optima rental car at the very top and tried to hike down. It was a little too late in the afternoon, and as we made our way down into the valley, it kept getting darker and darker. We made it all the way to the big tree that comes into view around 8:45. Watching this video, it kills me to know how close we were to the trailhead. I could hear the falls roaring in the distance but never caught sight of it. At that point, with dwindling light and nothing to protect us from bears or mountain lions, we decided to turn back. Five years later, and I'm still thinking about that falls. I just ordered a Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch package a few months ago, and this trail is one of the first things I want to beast mode in my new ride.
When we got to around 6.35 I started to doubt ourselves and thought we must have taken a wrong turn or missed one. But good thing we kept going. It was a relief to see the white gate at the end everyone was talking about.
My wife and I made it to the trail head in February in a Subaru Outback and there was only one real point of concern (shown at minute 6:00) as to whether we were going to make it back… it took a minute but we did. It was in considerably worse condition in February than it was in this video.

Thank for the informative video about the road conditions requiring 4-wheel drive to reach the fall trails.
