Miller is growing on me. Nice shot and handles for a 6'9 guy. Plays all 3 levels and good D. Once he gets some experience, strength and a little dog in him, he gonna be nice. I think Scoot will be a star. Miller I see as a solid double double and consistent starter type of guy. If he ever gets the "you can't hold me" Jordan mentality, he then becomes an all star/ all NBA player. With the growth of the other young pieces, the Hornets should improve .
I think Charles Bediako is a vastly underrated and underutilized player. He was most of the time the recipient of those great Miller passes and finished with authority.
He's nice. The passing and shooting will help him adjust a lot early on because I see him having trouble taking guys off the dribble or scoring inside in nba. His defense should translate if he can get the iq stuff down.
After seeing how much he plays like my favorite player Paul George, I’ve been watching him allot more. Charlotte’s gonna be an entertaining team to watch again
Man I'm a hornets fan - I'm liking Brandon Miller as our pick TBH. With Lamelo at point ( if he can stay healthy ) I think we will have a dog in B Miller.
@@NerdOsiris at this point i could care less about the pick i just wanna see how ripple effect this pick does. are we gonna resign Miles? would a guard step up for the SG position in Bouknight? Bryce? Terry is getting older🤷🏻♂️ do we trade for a SG?
As laker fan mitch k made good draft picks in the past. He got Andrew Bynum before anyone knew about him. Also to mention Jordan Clarkson, Mark gasol, and julis Randle.
It’s about fit the hornets and Charlotte are ready to move forward with this young core and start making playoff runs. I’m hoping they can pick up Steven adams as the center for the veteran presence and tough guy. Lamelo ball is insanely talented and with his height pairing with Brandon they are very versatile. With bridges coming back as well…this will be my league pass team for sure. I can’t wait to see the passing and chemistry grow between that young core.
@@jakeman025 That's the thing, if Charlotte had a established core, if you trust the franchise player, Lamelo, he will not become injury prone, his game can be effective instead of just flash without purpose, etc.. and then you have at least another piece to complement him, then you pick a young player that "fits". But the Hornet didn't established anything, they are still searching... so this situation is the inverse, you have to draft the best talent available no matter what. So, I understand why the fans are frustrated. The Suns committed the same mistake with Ayton by the way, they had JJJ as the best fit, Luka as the best talent... but they assumed Ayton was the better fit... and in the end, they neither drafted the best talent or a complementary piece, wasting the pick. So yet again, it seems Charlotte will waste a high draft pick
I still can't get a good read/gauge on him as a player. I think the Paul George comparisons have more to do with the fact that he has similar size and length to PG...not so much his actual game. he seems to be more of a spot up shooter. he's good, but I don't see the "special" in him.....not yet anyway.
Think that has to do with his frame a little bit. For example here at 0:57** he has good positioning to attack the defender smaller than him but it seems he barely got by. Bigger more athletic defenders will have a better time staying in front of that and be in position to stick with him. He’s quite skinny so it looked like he doesn’t have the first step nor physical profile to charge his way through a defense which is needed at his size, especially when you don’t have the speed. This will limit his upside until he gets the IQ part down.
I don't see George. George to me looked like a big point guard at that stage before his man body came in fully, I don't see that with this kid. Miller just looks like a wing that can pass. George also was more fluid, explosive athlete.
@@BakiSmaki27don’t think he made his game style off INDY pg I’ve watch more pg than anyone in these comments for sure like u said he’s not like pg but AT THAT AGE he played from pg from 18-19 to now less fluid yeah but that’s cause u can’t replicate pg handles he does everything more similar to pg than everyone after pg

Charlotte will be taking Miller because Charlotte already has their point guard in La Mello Ball. But Scoot Henderson is a point guard that has much better ball handles and speed than Brandon Miller. Not a bad comp , I see the parallels with 2019 draft. I thought Zion would have a short prime but I didn't think he'd have so many injuries and weight issues already.
Passing like that at 6'9 with that defense and size, he's gonna be fine

Scoot is good but I feel Brandon millers upside is better plus he’s goin into a halfway decent situation in terms of PT

matured and disciplined. High IQ player

He's either paul george or MKG. Remmember 2012?😂
he shoots like pg but does everything kinda like bron defense passing driving
Brandon Ingram vibe all the way.

PG - LaMelo Ball
