good evening 😂, hi guys very very interesting, I've never had a motorhome before, due to get ours in march (please), getting worried now after watching the vlog, so much to remember, i really do enjoy your vlogs. thanks again dave.
@@TheSlawsAdventures where did you find the steaks with Three sixty swivel please? I often find leashes on things too heavy for my Paps but worth finding out more and if they can be adapted, as my rescue little lad only weighs 1.6 Kg. I suspect he was the runt of his litter.
@@TheSlawsAdventures stakes not available now at Amazon. Wondered if there was a manufacturer or supplier else where but thank you I will keep a look out for them.
Thank you for all your vlogs. I found you about a week ago and I am working my way through all your videos. Brilliant. We have a ‘Heos’ adapter that saves you having to stand and hold the hose in your motorhome, they’re so good.
I use a cordless drill to wind the legs and regarding the cable if you plug into the power that means your carrying a live cable then when you lift the flap you could touch the live pin and get a nasty shock
Enjoyed your video, very informative, picking up our first motor home today, where do we start? Will follow your blogs, Thank you. Geraldine/ Mal South Wales
@TheSlawsAdventures hi thank you for getting back so soon . I mean the box what you have in the MH when drying your hair when your not on electric. LOL told you I don't know anything hahaha not sure if that would be better than a solar panel at the moment xx
Times have changed John, haven’t they? Our first Caravan was a Piper 1200. Gas mantles, foot pump in the floor for water and a porta potti in a cupboard! It makes us appreciate what we have today 👍🏻
Another great video, have been watching your NC500 blogs . Constantly.... Got some very helpful ideas on what to do and where to go Was very helpful. Hi Jennifer, they’ve both travelled in a motorhome from being 9 or 10 weeks old, so they’re very used to it. Try tiring yourself out before taking them in the car. Small trips and lots of praise to start with.
I find if u put Ur EHU lead under the motorhome and bring it to the front it keeps Ur put h a bitch tidier.. but that's just me when I was Car camping feed it through the awning
Brilliant mr and mrs slaw love your adventures we are hoping to do Germany next year great tips 👍 for us enjoy your adventures

Some motorhomes come with set up and leaving checklists. A couple of RUclipsrs have done their own and worth looking up.
Thanks this was so helpful for me, just bought a camper van (Hymer) and making first trip soon when it’s delivered, and with 3 dogs.
How exciting! A Hymer! We have two sets of friends with Hymers. They are lovely vans ❤️ Hope you have lots of great adventures 🚍☀️
Thank you. I am planning getting a van with 3 Papillons. Like your twister tops on the screw in pegs!
Hi Sally! Glad you enjoyed the vlog. The stakes are great aren’t they 👍🏻

I say a van but more likely a small motor home with three little ones to avoid treading on in the camper.

Awning?
You can get an adaptor for the water fill-up that connects to the van and the hose clips on.

Thanks Des! Which pan? The electric one? That’s a Tower. Or the one I use on the stove? That’s an Asda own brand one 👍🏻

Hi Pat! Exciting times ahead! Do you mean when we plugged in to the electric on this vlog, or the power stations that we have shown on other vlogs?

Thanks Karen! We’re off again soon so I’ll make sure we do some cooking on the vlog 👍🏻

Thank you!
My my, my first motor home set up was pulling the hand brake. Caravanning was different though.

Hi, we got them from Amazon a couple of years ago,
An enjoyable watch
Thank you!
I am amazed how well behaved your dogs are we have a border terrier and a morkie and oh my days travelling in a car with them is horrendous any tips 😃

who's job was checking the toilet was open? my wife's first job is to dive into the bathroom and I know she hasn't opened it!

We’re glad you liked it!
Plug in van first stops you carrying a live lead, just an extra safety step on site.
It does indeed!
Marvellous
Thank you!
Make sure your on ook up what are northerners like haha only joking great video.
Glad you can understand us 😜
Hi, did your van come with them levellers or did you fit them ?
Hi , they were on the van when we bought it new.
💙
Where did you get the doggy tie outs from?
Hi, they are 360 fun stakes and we got them from Amazon. They come on and off sale regularly, so keep checking 👍🏻
Didn't know motorhomes had weight stands like caravans do
Oh yes! They really help with stability when parked 👍🏻
I come from a camping families generation and I never knew that i just learnt something there .. :)

Couldn’t be bothered with all that
Don’t buy a motorhome then 😜
Gawd not a other 'pink/blue job' reference. Aren't we beyond this sexist nonsense?
Sexist in your opinion. In our opinion it’s the consensual workings of a very effective well-oiled machine 😉
