It's funny how we THINK we know how something looks until we have to recreate it. I first ran into this issue when I had to do a wood carving of a beaver. . Nothing crazy, nice and simple. I was surprised at just how hard it was. I hope JJ feels better quickly!
Great exercise! Glad I went back to finish the lesson. My first one.....I got the parts but the proportions and most of it was scribble, but recognizable as a bicycle. 2 one with reference picture: Great job, still not perfect but using a fountain pen . 3rd one from memory: Big improvement from the very 1st one but looks like an experimental bike! Haha. I definitely need a reference. But. I will keep trying this technique as it's good muscle memory training! Thank you.
Oh, boy!😬 I hope J.J. heals well and quickly! I decided to pause the video before you started drawing, so that I'm not influenced by you while I draw my bicycle by memory. Let's how it turns out!😊
Know why I liked this? Cause I don't need motivational classes etc., I need to learn how to draw stuff! You taught me how to draw a bicycle. Which I see a lot of in real life. Maybe How to Draw a Kitchen (and some of the stuff in it), How to Draw Furniture, in a Bedroom, or a Living Room, What's In Your Fridge, Or a Meal, Or Your Favourite Clothes/Shoes, Or Musical Instruments, Or a Campsite, Or a Backyard (with or without flowers), or the Inside of Your Favourite Cafe, or Bar. Or Bakery, or Your Favourite Food/Snack, or Stuffed Animals. I would love to learn how to draw these things.
Very nice! I haven't seen bikes with cuff & wheel guards since 1977 😂😂😂. Awesome exercise!
Oh poor JJ! JJ , I hope you feel better soon ❤

Bicycle frame - in concept- is made of connecting triangles with wheels, seat and bars and pedals attached. 🤔

We’ve done most of these! Check out the last five years of Draw With Me videos.
I think my artwork used to be great when I was painting for the fun of it now it's more people pleasing.
I know this must have been asked a million times but I can’t find it. What is the name/artist of your jazz piano theme music? ❤
I'm so jealous of your pen. I have 3 fountain pens..having problems with all of them.
I have one, it works well with some papers and others not, so I guess the problem could be the pen and the paper too.
