How to Update Software on Samsung Smart TV (Also How to Fix if Update is Greyed Out)

I show you how to preform a system software firmware update on your Samsung Smart TV.
Note that your TV must be connected to the internet doesn't matter if using wifi or wired connection. If your Update option is greyed out i also show you how to fix that. Let me know if you have any issues or questions thanks.

I followed your steps that you presented in this video but my "software update" isn't highlighted meaning, I can't click on it...weird.... *UPDATE*. I was able to update my TV the way you showed AFTER updating the time and date on my TV(all because my TV screamed at me to do it first). Finally updated my Tv after not being able to do it since I first got it back in 2012....LOL!! I felt it was time to finally do it since then...

Also make sure your remotes battery's are juiced up ...my analysis with tinkering with this TV was that if your TV seems slow or laggy like it could be the AAA BATTERY'S ARE ALMOST DEAD. My version is a 1150
