Brian was out of Brewster New York. I had one of his U.S. made models in the 90s. They were fantastic guitars. Never played one of the import models. Wish i had mine back! 🎸
Brian Moore made extremely excellent axes, even the overseas made models. Worked at a store that sold them in the 90's. In fact, they impressed one of the owners of the store so much at the NAMM show that summer that he bought one for his personal collection. I couldn't afford one at the time, but I really liked the design & build. Also, check the gig bag; they come with a special tool to adjust it.
Those are cool.. Mine had a Floyd so no locking tuners and I have no idea which tuners that guitar came with. I was told Cort made these and a good bit of their "USA made" guitars but no first hand knowledge of that. The 4 and 2 headstock was touted as keeping the vibration of the low strings from influencing the high strings which doesn't make sense to me but hey marketing:)
It looks like a Cort factory guitar I don’t know how to explain it, but they just have a look and overall quality about them. They look like some pretty nice guitars I’ve seen several but I’ve never picked one up to try it out. Those tuners look like Sperzell locking tuners and I would almost bet a paycheck they aren’t stock. Well maybe they are sperzell style or something because the one he’s got in stock looks to have the same tuners in black. Cool they must come with locking tuners.
@@brandonjackson5865 it’s the bit about the USA guitars I wish I could track down more information on.. I really hope the guy who passed that along to me was wrong. His shop sold Cort basses so who knows.
I have an I8 which is the I2000 series model without the synth stuff. Came with locking tuners, strap locks, JB in the bridge Jazz at the neck. Mahogany neck, real flame maple cap on mahogany body. Ebony fretboard.
These are great guitars. I traded in a seven string model at zimms a few months ago for a really shallow reason: I hate quilted maple tops. But it was a fantastic guitar.
Yepp, that was just the right zebra humbuckers for the guitar i think. Hey, Shawn & Kathy you did a great job on those basses, the are just insane how beautiful they are, good on you. Congrats. 👏👏

"Go buy a guitar " Brian Moore guitars are really cool w the jack in the back of it
I never saw one before. The jack in back is cool. Like the vibe of the guutar.

That’s a really unique neck joint and output jack. And why’s there a hole at the neck bottom? Is there a special tool for adjusting the neck?
very cool guitar
keep up the video's Dane, and have a great day!
Dave's world of fun stuff and Zimms guitar videos are very informative

I also have one of these i8 series. You’ll find the pickups are split coils as well. Excellent guitar and can’t see myself ever selling it.

I own a C90P custom and will put it up against any PRS any day of the week. Such an underrated guitar!!! I plan to buy another!
I've had a Brian Moore iM guitar for 15 years - definitely the best instrument I've owned in terms of sound and feel.
