when cookies are burnt on the bottom it's usually cause the oven is too hot or that the oven rack needs to be moved up a notch, and it also happens with darker pans, this used to happen to me all the time lol 😩

Baking with a silpat baking mat will help with the evenness of the cookie and its non-stick! (You then also only need to clean the mat and not the baking sheet itself)

Ya I would say changing the position of the oven rack in your oven could help with burning and maybe put in a thermometer in ur oven to make sure it’s reach an optimal temp?

Try putting the baking rack in the middle instead of on the bottom! The heat from the bottom of the oven is probably cooking the bottom of the cookies too fast. I was on a homemade granola kick a while back and was having the same problem and moving it to the middle so there was more equal heat on the top and bottom definitely helped.
Do you usually bake with the cookie pans on the same rack? It’s possible that they’re conducting too much heat by touching and transferring it back and forth which would make the bottom of the pan hotter than the oven temp! Try baking on two different racks/one at a time. Hope that helps :) they look awesome anyway

Sally Darr your vlogs are my absolute favorite
always bake cookies for the least amount of time listed in the recipe! they will continue to cook on the inside as they cool on the pan, so you don't want to wait until they look done in the oven because then it will kind of be too late. ESPECIALLY with sugar cookies, if you see even the smallest amount of browning at the edges, take them out immediately. i really hope this helps!!!
