The thing that scares me the most about having a baby is pregnancy weight gain and visible changes in my body. I really think it should be the wife's decision on when to have a baby cuz she's the one who's body is going through changes. If a woman wants to wait a few years before having a kid or doesn't want kids at all, her husband has zero rights to pressure her into having a kid sooner or having one at all.

The scariest thing about having a child is the possibility of failing as a parent. It’s a commitment and a responsibility. Elon Musk says “your children owe you nothing whilst you owe your children everything.” If having kids is a deliberate choice we make, we owe them the right of safety, security and freedom. Most criminals and those suffering in many ways are proof results of their parents’ actions and how they were raised. I don’t know if I’m getting my point across but it’s scary thinking your child could grow up to be a dangerous person with intentions of violence and revenge and it’s even more terrifying knowing you, as a parent, are responsible. If your biggest concern is the visible changes in your body, I suggest you start thinking carefully. Your body will change in time regardless of having kids or not.

Watch doulas giving tips on laboring at home before you decide to go to a hospital. There are different stages of labor. Active labor is when you need a midwife or to go to a hospital. As women we are designed to birth children naturally, the hospitals make pregnancy like a sickness because they are in the business of making money.
