- Here is a video of my process for hand forging a kukri. no power hammer. no press. just good old fashioned elbow grease whatever that means. hope you enjoy if you could drop a like, comment, and share I would appreciate it. thanks for watching. On to the next!
Awesome! My favorite blade design that I have yet to make.
i am the proud owner proud owner of the custom Droger XL, you are one of, if not the best blade maker blade maker in the world. Proud to own one of your knifes.
I don’t know about that but thank you for the compliment and the support 🤙🏼
@Lostyco blade still has no chip on the edge. And trust me, I'm trying.
Very nice! I love that finish, and there's something so satisfying about watching a tumbler swallow the blade.
Wow just came across this, I have done business with his dad for years and is a great friend of mine. Adam actually made me a beautiful knife with sheath years ago when he got started. I love it!
Keep up the awesome work Adam.
God bless!!!
Thanks man 🙏🏼
your the picasso of custom knife.. nice art
That is a sick blade !!
Love your work instagram legend !
Cool video. Sweet knife.
Love watching the process and work that goes into making blades
@Atwin91
Solid bro!
Потрясающе
Fire❤
Awesome designs and craftsmanship as well @cologeo
Unreal work as always @cologeo
Beautiful work man. That blade turned out so cool. The huge chunk of scale that came off the blade after quench was so satisfying 😂 - @jecforge
👏👏👏
Love it man, videos from the forge are always sick! @AdrianoftheVale
I could watch these process videos all day! Something so relaxing about them
@forgedbymatej
I agree
Been itching for this video! Looks amazing
@jakehandlon
Your a bloody legend bro! 🙌🏻 that was epic to see thank you for sharing!

What material do you use to paint a knife 5:23
Can’t beat it!! Capthowdy1 out!
Yessssss. Awesome built like always
@nicotinamida
What do you use in your quench tank? How would it look texture wise if you blasted the handle material? @JonNiebuhr13
Idk havnt tried that yet. And I use an ammo case
Your skill is next level! @cologeo
Love the process!

Did you ever upgrade from your previous grinder. I know I messaged you a while back and at the time you weren’t liking your current setup and sounded like you were looking into a new setup. What do you use for a heat treat oven? I’m just starting with premade blanks and working on my handle skills, it’s definitely a learning curve. Keep up the good work. @JonNiebuhr13
Yep I got an new ameribrade grinder. Still waiting on my surface, grinding attachment. Then I’ll be set. And my HT oven is a paragon
Do you do your own kydex sheaths? I’d be curious on seeing that process. I’m intrigued with people who make leather sheaths and saddle stitch everything etc. @JonNiebuhr13
Yeah I’m thinking of doing a video on that soon.
Always love the work @oscarcresdee_
Can you show us how to make Jude’s sheath? @_isaiahmora_
Would also be interesting to see total time to make the blade @jamaki604
Is it annoying setting up the camera angle for all the shots?
Very lol. But I do like the end result
🤌👍
Absolutely love your work. Always excited to see your posts.
@austinwrightknives
Do you have a favorite handle material you like to use ,if so what makes it better than other materials. I feel like some of the stabilized wood/combined handle materials are definitely more challenging. @JonNiebuhr13
I’d say favorite would be terotuf cause it smells good when grinding. And as far as looks I do like all the combo handles.
Do awesome work man. @Johnlistenberger
You're editing is damn good
@nicotinamida
Great work as always! Keep it up!
@kangelloknives
Turned out great!
@kangelloknives
Love your work
@drew_bee
Idk if I’m too late to the game for the drawing but I enjoyed the process start to finish. The wax made the handle pop really well. @jonniebuhr13
The design is solid! All of my favorite! “Villain” style blade, stone washed and I’m assuming G10 scales? 😮💨 @theericramirez
Close. Richlite
Should leave material details in the description 👌🏼@jamaki604
Lol forgot @dad__mode
Also, is 80crv2 difficulty to work with?
I’d say it’s actually one of the easier steels to work with. That’s why a lot of guys choose it for forging
Live stream would be dope. Throw a camera up in the corner and just stream while you work 🤙🏼 @jamaki604
Why the acid to the stonewash? Is the acid just for color? @jamaki604
Yeah the acid darkens the blade and the stonewash scuffs off the oxides to give that scratched up finish.
What handle material did you use here? @jamaki604
Black diamond richlite.
Big fan of your work, keep it up 😘😘
@1mario_s
Oscarcresdee_ love the work mate👍🏼
You ever forge weld? @jamaki604
I tried once and failed.
Did you get a larger quench tank because of my seax? Actual question. @jamaki604
Yep lol. I’ve needed a larger one any way.
Looks great. Thanks for sharing. What size bar did you start with?
@jp.4ged
2” by 1/4”
@@Lostyco thank you
How long did this build take 🤔 @theericramirez
Well if I made this on its own, it would only take a couple days, but because I made it along with several other blades and also film it. Which takes a ton extras time. It took like a week and a half
Anything stone washed is it!! @theericramirez
Thinking of adding something to my mini hatchet from you. Oscarcresdee_
Your work is insane, I love the texture you do on your grips
@mtn_denizen
Also, kinda wanting a new chef knife :) @AdrianoftheVale
I’m gonna have some stainless one’s available soon
Try adding commentary to your videos on RUclips, keep up the great work. 💪💪
@1mario_s
Yeah I’m working on that. I’ve seen other videos like mine but with commentary and they do quite well
Awesome video and beautiful knife
