I still has the scar on my index finger from bandsaw accidents. Mistake I made cutting defrost meat cause blade pulled in. By fortune I didn't lost my fingers , unforgettable incident...lesson learned in hard way
Well wearing any sort of plastic gloves while using a bandsaw is a big no no. You dont have a good grip with those powdered gloves and even vinly gloves can slip. Using your bare hands are the only way. I'm surprised not one person even mentioned it. My company does not allow us to use any gloves while operation the bandsaw and having a watch in is a health code violation too. We only wear gloves when dealing with poultry, seafood, cooked product or making ready to cooked meals.
@@forkmeatsfood6214 many companies let employees wear gloves while they cut meat from vinyl to cotton knit gloves and I understand not liking the feel of raw meat. My company is very strict about gloves on the bandsaw. They would not even allow cardboard boxes on top of cutting boards because that's where the meat is cut. We had our own in house health inspectors on top of the state inspectors.....lol
