What a City. I did my Masters in University of Manchester,Left England in 2011. It has charm that no other city in UK have, been to Birmingham, new castle, liverpool, London, sheffield.. Some great memories .. Thanks a ton Mate..love from India.
I just got accepted to the University of Manchester for Masters this coming September. I was born in London, but been in the US for the last 20 years. I’ve never been to Manchester, I’d appreciate it if you could expand on your experience within both the University and Manchester as a whole. Cheers!
HI Ben, University of Manchester is one of the top universities in UK (features regularly in top 10). It is particularly well known for the business school. Manchester as a whole is very affordable compared to London. Easy to go around with good transport facilities. its the home of 2 of the biggest football clubs in the world, Manu and City. A good night life and eat out spots. It wouldnt cost you upwards of 1000 Pounds a month if you opt for shared accommodation. i am sure you will love the place and the univ.
This are testimonies of what the great spell caster DR. Ken can do, THANKS TO THE GREAT SPELL CASTER CALLED DR.ken FOR SOLVING MY PROBLEMS, i was married to my husband for 5 years we were living happily together for this years and not until he traveled to Italy for a business trip where he met this girl and since then he hate me and the kids and love the other lady only. so when my husband came back from the trip he said he does not want to see me and my kids again so he drove us out of the house and he was now going to Italy to see that other woman. so i and my kids were now so frustrated and i was just staying with my mum and i was not be treating good because my mother got married to another man after my father death so the man she got married to was not treating her well, i and my kids where so confuse and i was searching for a way to get my husband back home because i love and cherish him so much so one day as i was browsing on my computer i saw a testimony about this spell caster DR.ken testimonies shared on the internet by a lady and it impress me so much i also think of give it a try. At first i was scared but when i think of what me and my kids are passing through so i contact him and he told me to stay calm for just 24 hours that my husband shall come back to me and to my best surprise i received a call from my husband on the second day asking after the kids and i called DR.ken and he said your problems are solved my child. so this was how i get my family back after a long stress of break up by an evil lady so with all this help from DR.ken, i want you all on this forum to join me to say a huge thanks to DR.ken, and i will also advice for any one in such or similar problems or any kind of problems should also contact him his number on whatsapp )+234 8118185518he is the solution to all your problems and predicaments in life. once again his whatsapp number is +234 8118185518 HE IS SPECIALIZE IN THE THE FOLLOWING SPELL. My first visit to Manchester was in 2015 during my staying in Manchester I visited many cities in Uk but it sees a big difference between Manchester and others cities in Uk . I miss my love my heart my city Manchester......... I have been there for more then 4 years...... It reminded me my lovely friends and my past memories....
redvamp22 castlefield, spinningfields, northern quarter, salford quays area all worth a visit. I'd miss Piccadilly square where the video went through. Some beautiful old library's you can walk around that are quite Harry Potter esq, some good museums, the Lowry and whitworth gallery are good, get a curry from rusholme/curry mile. The man united tour is quite popular and the football museum if your a sports fan.
We're very interested in 'slow TV', no presenters, muzak or opinion, just an immersive tour with natural sounds and sights. Thanks for adding this really enjoyable one. I hope between us we can spread these kind of videos around a little.
Blessings to everyone. I intend to visit Manchester in March of this year 2019 for my birthday 🎂💝🎉🎊🎁 I don’t know where I will be staying yet. But I am excited 💝😘🥰
I remember the first day in manchest I came from Pakistan to study over there I was just nervous and feel so different there but it was amazing in Manchester beautiful city
This seems to be a very interesting city, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!
I am the Mrs. on this page and my Grand parents are from England. Wish I could go to England and live for a year and make loads of video's. When making a video, I much prefer the one making a video to narrate throughout the filming, heh, tell us where you are at and what's going on. Like here's a great place to eat, avoid going over there, watch out for this and that, give us a clue about everything, like the chit chat, a girl and guy would be even better.
I am coming to Manchester for 3 nights (then onto London for two) in less than 2 weeks....thanks for posting this. Now at least I know what the place looks like a little bit
Wetherspoons is a feature pub in most UK cities. I also was partial to Yate's Wine Lodges myself. Don't know if they still exist in and around Manchester, as I'm an old git now, and haven't been to Manchester or Bolton for many years.
I remember getting lost in the town centre, I stayed in Manchester for 1 week and now watching this video I can just about tell which buildings are coming up next😂😂😂😂 how ironic....it's like I'm there in person.

Sam Spade Like all parts of the UK, Manchester gets rain. Manchester does tend to get more rain than other parts, due to its North Westerly location, averaging over 150 days of rain per year. However, most of this rain is light and other parts of England get heavier rainfall. Manchester also has lots of overcast days, with over 200 days of overcast skies each year, due to low pressure fronts moving in from the west. Sometimes this brings rain to Manchester, and sometimes it doesn't... When it doesn't, it just brings constant cloud for days at times. However, Manchester is beautiful in the sunshine, even if it only gets 1,400 hours of sunshine per year, which makes it one of the least sunniest parts of the country. One thing with the weather that is better is the temperatures and also the winds... Manchester is one of the least windy parts of the UK, and at night wind speeds often dip below 5mph. However, with temperatures it gets rather mild Winters, sometimes a bit of snow, and in Summer temperatures often stay above 18C in the day, and above 11C at night. However, for a major city, Manchester has something called the urban heat island warming, and this causes Manchester to be one of the hottest places in the country during heatwaves, depending on whether or not there's sunshine. Days above 30C aren't rare, and will occasionally happen every Summer. The highest temperature ever recorded in Manchester was 33.7C.
Sam Spade Much less than a lot of other British cities and surprisingly comes up to middle of the average rain table. I think Cardiff was the top and that’s a city not readily associated with rain.
Hi there, I've been enjoying watching this. We film 4k natural sight and sound walks in soulful cities, and it's lovely to discover how we can share and learn so much about places from each other through channels such as this, thank you for taking the time to add it. Perhaps we could subscribe to each other and look forward to sharing more of the same.
Dear Unexplained: Pls.give us a bit more dwell-time on signage --whether it's the fingerposts or the sniped adverts over construction sites. Also, do a bit more exercise (you sound winded with just a little bit of walking--at 74, I'm aware of these things m'damnedself). Also, when possible, don't follow behind a street sweeping machine -- or whatever was the gawdawful background noise. See Swilliamism's channel for ideas on delivery, views, poisoning pigeons in the park (as Tom Lehrer put it to song way back when). TIA.... also, what's the False Flag Scene in the Manchester Bombing? You might start an FOInformation movement to get the MI5 schedule for the next bombings in Britain, Wales, Scotland, Ireland. Wonder if they'll pull one off for the Falklands--kind of tough to get all the media shills to travel there. And of course there's Australia and New Zealand left to bomb, in order to keep the "be afraid; be very afraid" (BABVA) quotient above 83.225% -- i.e., to make sure that 83.225% of the public are very afraid at all times. Only interesting option I can see to the superior firepower of the Deep State is to pave the hallways of all official buildings with banana skins, though that might be more appropriate to do in the US, as we were First In The Caribbean to Make The World Safe For United Fruit--Costa Rico as the First Banana Republic, wasn't it (see "War Is A Racket" by Smedley Darlington Butler" --- written by the guy who made it so).
Sorry but The City of Manchester is the 6th biggest City in he UK, Liverpool. Bristol and Glasgow are larger with a bigger population, and Birmingham with it's 1.5 million Citizens is the second largest City in the UK
Paul Ainsley I visited Leeds and although it’s very close to the beautiful countryside and the people have a quaint Yorkshire dialect it lacks that metropolitan big city feel. Manchester has more of a happening vibe. If I was to leave the Home Counties for anywhere it would be Manchester.
they ruined the centre of Manchester when they built that office block where there used to be Piccadilly gardens, to me it is the ugliest building I have ever seen, where there used to be beauty there is now ugliness.
zT eK It's a friendly city, and each place has its negatives, but with Manchester being a major city it has quite a high crime rate, and also a high drug rate, alcohol rate and a relatively low life expectancy.
If your a student be careful in the University campus area, Wilmslow Road, plenty have been robbed! mostly it's safe if you use your head and don't do stupid things in the wrong areas...I sadly think this city is in a kind of flux of horrendous homeless and poverty situation, and on the flip side massive investment and business, shame about the people who need it. I think the future is bright for Manchester as it's ever expanding and developing, not somewhere I would want to settle, I am still curious as to why it's so popular really but i have know it all my life...I think the poorer family's workers are being priced out of homes now as in London....
zT eK it isn’t as dangerous as u think. I go there everyday there are a few werdios that ‘catcall’ u. And a couple ‘gangs’ other than that there’s nothing to really worry about
Manchester is embarrassing.......show piece of a railway station looool smack bang into primark passing the wall of shame in piccadilly grdns .....cmon manchester where is your charm
