I guess this would be perfect for homes off grid, RV and camping right? Enough juice to run the powerful items most would need. Good video and nice to see your place not just inside images. The weather seems very good compared to here!
Yes, exactly up to 3000w covers most needs.
This was what I needed on this product thanks good review
You’re welcome 😊
Looks like a great bit of kit.
It is plenty of power and the add-on batteries. Thanks for watching!
I have the Bluetti ac300 with two b300 batteries and 2400 watts of solar power and it works great for me but that jackery looks great.
2400W watts nice, that's a good bit of power! I think I might have reviewed that one the AC300. Bluetti are also very good.
This unit has a lot of appealing features.
It sure does.
3000 watts (up to 6000 watts with the special cable) is an insane amount of power. All we get here from a wall outlet is 1500 watts.
Yeah with that special cable joining two of the battery stations the 6000w max output is crazy powerful. Highest I've seen yet. I guess it can run a welder and very demanding tools.
@@Techtablets yeah i could totally see it coming in handy for a tradesman moving from job to job.
Still waiting for the Tesla Cyber Truck review from you Chris! Lol
Well I love love to review that, but some how I don't think I'll get the chance!
Nice to see more powerful devices that give you the option to power pretty much anything portable. Unfortunately the bulky size and heavy weight wouldn't be ideal for me, nor would the hefty price tag. I understand you gotta pay to play though.
That's of course the trade off more capacity but more weight. And then the larger they are the more expensive makes sense.
@@Techtablets Actually now that I think about it, considering the raw power it can handle the size and weight isn't really that bad. Maybe the price too.
It's not really when you factor that in yes.
Good it has a large enough battery size for my needs
👍 Great
How does one use solar panels that are not made by jackery I have heard that can be an issue? It looks like you did so without a problem in the video is any type of adapter required? Thank you
Hi no problem at all you just plug them in the all normally use the standard MC4 solar connectors.
Just bought the Anker 767 , jakery if you snooze you loose ! What took so long to switch to LFP batteries???
Good point they did take too long to move to LFP. Now they have this is a great unit but that Anker 767 is also very good I really like that units build, features and overall quality. This Jackery however is much quieter in use (not charging) and the add on expansion battery is a very good option for those that want huge kWh's at their disposal.
Hey Chris where is your ROG ally review?
Coming maybe
What year is that E class wagon?? It's niiiiccee!!
2018 thanks :)
their website says it can expanded up to 24kwh and you say 12khw so which is it?
Well that's per battery station up to 12kWh. So 2 from the unit and then each extra battery. But there is a cable that links two stations plus those batteries together for 6000W of power and then 24kWh. But i was taking about using the single station here. Hope that clears it up.
@@Techtablets oh ok thanks
Sopports microinverter to home grid?
They don't sell it for this one.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for watching!
Key question of all the powerstation mess sold via influencer marketing is brand and modell of the cells built in.
They will not tell you, regardless whose powerstation you buy or show cause they DO NOT EVEN CARE what they use.
That would kill their big big margin cause chinese well known cell manufacturers from byd over catl to eve have their price while they buy the cheapest crap from the chinese spot market.
You play with your reputation becoming a powerstation reseller this way.
Here someone has released what he makes from every affiliate link purchase and compared that to the discöunts people got:
At that point he had stopped the power station yt business, also due in adequate cable diameter for the EU markets cause they chose smaller, cheaper diameter where you can not use the battery at nominal output safely.
It took quite a while to do the full investigations to find out the anonymous cell maker in rewrapped cells that looked like new, but weren't. After removing the busbars you could see marks from previous weldering and that meant 2nd hand cells
You need to tear it down fully to check that and if the cells have no brands on them they are the cheapest you could get.
LFP cells, but no info on the brand from them or the website. Full teardown is something that would tell the full story of these cells of course, but that's risky, risk of fire etc for me I'm just not going there. Last thing I want is to have to deal with a Li-ion battery fire at my house. Second hand cells is a scary thought indeed, which brand was that. Do tell was it Jackery?? If so I need more info and would stop overing them if this was the case.
Well I'm not selling them, the links aren't affiliate links. I get no commission and I'm not paid for this video.
I see previous model tear downs, Jackery looks like a good brand. They have a good name. It's not like I'm reviewing unknowns.
Interesting but this is just too heavy and not enough power
Not enough power? 3000 watts dude! (up to 6000) what are you trying to power?
Yeah I thought the same power wise this is one of the best and with the special cable and twin units a crazy 6kw! I guess he means not enough capacity?
How much? U didnt say bro
Check description link, but around 3700 for both station and extra pack.
No idea why I watched this but seems like a good product for emergency power
They are good for that yes.
@@Techtablets❤
Good video but not something I need or wanted!
Fair enough!
It is ridiculous that a 3K unit does not easily charge the expansion battery. There is nothing that shows you it is charging IF IT EVEN CHARGES bc mine did not. I'm sending this garbage back!
Wow this is 3700 euros no thanks.
Sure the extra power and capacity isn't cheap. But you don't have to buy the expansion battery pack.
