Because at 100, players tend to not see all of the angles the opposing queen has, so it's very easy to blunder a lot of pieces that way. Getting your queen out will sometimes let you just scoop up a knight and rook for free because the knight pawn was left undefended
I remember as a beginner I thought I was a genius when I "discovered" the Scandinavian defense. I thought it was amazing that you get your queen out on move two.
I think I just realized the beauty of that outro music... the melody feels sad when the mission is failed, but at the same time happy when the mission is accomplished 😆

Challenges where the opponent doesn't have to abide by any rule tend to be very easy (as this one was, despite Simp saying he thought it wasn't doable), and challenges where he does sometimes are just unnecessarily hard. There are just good rules and stupid rules in both sides.
"I didn't even think this challenge was doable". It sounded easier than most of them to me. In this one you weren't constrained to force the opponent do not do certain things. That's MUCH harder, when you're required to do things like make sure they don't move to the g file, or make sure they never move their bishop more than 2 spaces or something.

Try this: any previous 100 rated Chess challenge, but you are a coward unless you inform your opponent of your restrictions. Twice: (1) before the game starts; (2) the first time the restrictions force an obvious bad move or prevent an obvious best move, preceded by "See? I lose if [...insert violation of restriction here...]. If you break a rule: send message "Oops, that was against the rules! But at least I am not a coward" & resign. If your opponent violates a constraint, send message: "Well played. But at least I am not a coward." & resign. Who's the coward now?

I feel that against 100s, pretty much every challenge that only limits your own moves can eventually be won on time.
It's more entertaining though rather than the impossible challenges that also applies to the opponent.

Its amazing how these 100s have an urge to attack with their Queen as soon as physically possible and completely forget about her 1 turn later
