Btw, it is possible to get the 145. Star before the ending. (Warning long text) The star gets loaded because the game tries to load up the original map (or something like that I'm not sure how it exactly works). It does this when the game needs the map for a cutscene which happens on two occasions: 1. When the ending credits would play. 2. When it loads one of the demos that play in the start menu. The hack prevents both times from actually showing but they still load beforhand. So if you wait in the starting menu for a long time so that a demo would play ( sadly you wont see it happening). The star will appear the next time you go to the map. I tried it myself and it really works.

damn this is some real dedication, im practicely using this as a walkthrough lol. also how did you memorize this so easily? because damn you have good memory fella
I know this is like 5 months late but before making the video I did one playthrough off camera which you can even see at the beginning of the video that I have File B with 145 stars, that was the first playthrough. After familiarizing myself with all of the levels and the layout of the castle, I then did a lot of exploring so I can find the most optimal paths to each location since there can be many different ways to reach one single area, some longer and some shorter than others. I would find the shortest path to each location and write them down. I created a very long list of the order I would visit each area and collect the stars in and I basically followed that list while playing the game. So in conclusion, the pathing in the video was in fact predetermined and was not random allowing me to easily navigate the castle. What's crazy is that because I chose the most optimal paths for the video, there are a couple of areas that I never visited in the video. It really just goes to show how massive B3313 is, and it's only going to get even bigger when version 1.0 comes out.
It was crazy watching this and seeing entire parts of the castle I never encountered in my playthrough. Also, on an unrelated note, does anyone else find tick tock blocks strangely relaxing? I felt much more safe and comfortable in it than most other courses, but I’m not sure why.
This is the greatest rom-hack of a game I’ve ever experienced! Super Mario 64 is one of my favorite games, and this game is like another dimension’s equivalent to it. There are many aspects of this game that surpass the original, such as being able to play as Luigi, and the larger amount of content. However, I hate having to play this game on a keyboard, I hope alternatives exist…
Yes, I'm here because of Vinesauce, Joel, specifically. I just have to say that this is one of most beautiful SM64 hacks I have ever seen, I love the blend of exploration, mystery, slight horror, original designs and content, and, of course, it's friggin' Super Mario 64. What more can you ask for?
After 6 months I finally figured out why the chapter feature was not working for this video. Apparently there is a limit of 100 chapters per video, and if you try to go past the 100 chapter limit then the chapters won't work. Since this video had more than 100 chapters it was not working, and for the longest time I did not know the cause of it until I looked it up recently. I have now fixed it by making the entire last hour of the video, which is just me visiting different points of interests and lore, in to one big chapter. If you still want to see the specific timestamps for each point of interest they will still be in the video description, however, I purposefully broke the timestamps for the last hour in order for the chapter feature to work. You won't be able to click on the last couple of timestamps in the description, however, the timestamps are also in my pinned comment and you'll still be able to click the timestamps there as those have not been broken since they are not related to the chapter feature. Thank you everyone for your patience and sorry for the inconvenience of not having the chapter feature for the past 6 months. I am also going to try and finish the last bit of subtitles soon since I left them incomplete this entire time.
I didn't knew that the yellow switch at 54:40 could take your cap away forever. I had to start over the whole thing, but fortunately i didn't lost too much progress, I only had 6 stars.
I refuse to believe that Flooded town is after Dry Town. I think the personalization AI just said "fuck it, we need a water level in this basement to make it seem natural." Flooded town is probably my least favorite area in the entire game, whereas Dry Town is my absolute favorite.
i knew that tall tall mountain 100 coin star is so impossible to get because there were only 73 coins and you have to grab a 27 fale bob ombs and convert these to 27 extra coins so we want to make level passable
This game is terrifying. I'm glad there's this play through. Now I know how many stars there are, and I can see the entirety of this giant hack. This is truly amazing. By the way, this hack can be played in native widescreen by changing the aspect ratio in the game and stretching the screen to 16:9. I'm surprised most people don't do that.
I hope in V1.0, there's a fast travel to the Vanilla portions of the castle. Also, I wonder what the reason behind the blocks teleporting you to a checkerboard area on top of a star was.
This video has reached 50,000 views which is a first for me! I never thought I would reach this many views back when I first uploaded it, thank you everyone!
There's a ton of esoteric and creepy text in this mod. The toads are all spouting nightmare fuel, the signs tell you to run away, and the red bob-ombs all have thousand yard stares from the war
I know b33 is over but ai would love to see the last official build (0.9) get a longplay. I know the abandoned build has alot of duplicate stars but there are so many areas and seeing all of it in one video would be really cool.
The developer purposefully didn’t put it in the ROM hack because he found the sound too annoying. However, he said he’s going to put it in the next update.
Any time a seemingly new star is discovered, it seems to always have a shared ID with any one of the 145 already. When will a new star be discovered such that it doesn't have a new star ID?
Most of the time when I see people saying that there is another star in a level that I did not collect it is always a star that shares its star ID with another star that I had already collected. Me and a lot of the other "hardcore" B3313 players have pretty much found and tested every possible collectable star in B3313 v0.7, including duplicate stars and stars with shared IDs. Pretty much all of our findings are recorded on the B3313 wiki. Because of the sheer nature of this hack, it could be possible that there does exist more star(s) that have not been discovered yet, but as of right now it seems very unlikely as we have broken down B3313 as thoroughly as we possibly could and have found nothing. However, it is possible to get more than 145 stars, up to a total of 152 stars if you play on older versions of B3313 and collect stars unique to those versions. The save file for one version can be used on all versions letting you carry over star counts from one version to another and stars collected across different versions will even add to your star count so long as the star ID is unique and is not shared with another star, because even if it is a different version of B3313, if the star ID in one version is the same as the star ID in another version it still will not count. You can ready up about it here: b3313.fandom.com/wiki/B3313#Star_count
@@VeloxusGaming I read about it and watched the video about the "Personalized stars" and it really does seem like that 145 may be the final count, though now that I said that, I wouldn't be surprised if we somehow find a new star before v0.8
does going through the final door at the Haunted Castle Grounds with 145 stars do anything? i tried going back there after i beat Bowser 3 while having the missing HUD, but it just put me in an infinite animation loop, but i only had 71 stars when i went there
No, there is nothing after 145 stars. Also, after beating Bowser 3 and having the missing HUD, all star doors get locked again and trying to open them again puts you in an endless animation loop. The only thing you can get after beating Bowser 3 is the Tall, Tall Mountain waterfall star. I've tried checking other levels as well to see if they also spawn any stars but none do.

All it’s missing is Charles Martinet ;)
Kidding aside, I think Mario’s voice effects here add to it’s eeriness…
@@stellarjess Honestly, I agree. His burning and falling scream is absolutely hilarious by the way.
6 hours of Y E A H!
dang i wish Y E H A A! was in that build, it was funny.

I didn't knew that the yellow switch at 54:40 could take your cap away forever. I had to start over the whole thing, but fortunately i didn't lost too much progress, I only had 6 stars.
I love how every time '96 Mario from the 64 sees a coin and goes "Oh look, a penny!" and instantly heals
4:41:00 Saves in Speedrunning
Either I'm bad or the jump onto the castle is so precise it's insane. Honestly the hardest thing in the game for me.
You can also get on top of the roof by falling off of the Floating Hotel.
31:22 What a blooper!
02:11:34 insane T-bag moment
This ROM hack is scary
Absolute madman 100 percenting this
I refuse to believe that Flooded town is after Dry Town. I think the personalization AI just said "fuck it, we need a water level in this basement to make it seem natural." Flooded town is probably my least favorite area in the entire game, whereas Dry Town is my absolute favorite.
Nice personalized copy!
i knew that tall tall mountain 100 coin star is so impossible to get because there were only 73 coins and you have to grab a 27 fale bob ombs and convert these to 27 extra coins so we want to make level passable
this game is a fucking acid trip
This game is terrifying. I'm glad there's this play through. Now I know how many stars there are, and I can see the entirety of this giant hack. This is truly amazing. By the way, this hack can be played in native widescreen by changing the aspect ratio in the game and stretching the screen to 16:9. I'm surprised most people don't do that.
Terrifying? Are you 10?
@@pafoneto1275 No but I've still been scared shitless a couple times while playing the hack in the dark.
5:00 actually the vanish cap doesn't even make the cage easier to get into, it still has its clippy collision for some reason...
Whoever voiced Mario in this is a freaking legend
I hope in V1.0, there's a fast travel to the Vanilla portions of the castle.
Also, I wonder what the reason behind the blocks teleporting you to a checkerboard area on top of a star was.
The “yahoo” and “wahoo” sounds hit different
145 stars and it seems a little bugged... A wonderful Hack 👍
A real trooper. Good work
This video has reached 50,000 views which is a first for me! I never thought I would reach this many views back when I first uploaded it, thank you everyone!
"This castle is exclusive to The Show." What does it mean by that?
There's a ton of esoteric and creepy text in this mod.
The toads are all spouting nightmare fuel, the signs tell you to run away, and the red bob-ombs all have thousand yard stares from the war
To me, I think that is more of Miyamoto's ideas for Super Mario 64 that were never passed to the final version of the game.
I'm seeing worlds in this playthrough that I didn't see in any other playthroughs so far.
This is like the SM64 equivalent of Long America
Bet you're ready for the 0.8 update.
Impressive run and demonstration!
Thanks a lot for the vid!
Thanks so much for doing this and sharing it.
I know there were a lot of good moves during this run but 2:51:48 was brilliant 👏
Meanwhile Mario falling into a pool of blood
I wish the beta engine they used was more accurate.
So is this like a past, Present and future when you fast travel to different versions of the lobby?
Maybe. Or even different dimensions/parallel universes.

I thought this was literally a normal beta rom hack, i was wrong... Bruh this game is haunted i swear to god.
The creator knew exactly what they were doing
I know b33 is over but ai would love to see the last official build (0.9) get a longplay. I know the abandoned build has alot of duplicate stars but there are so many areas and seeing all of it in one video would be really cool.
A pure thread of imagination
This could become the sequel of super Mario 64
Thank you so much now i have 130 stars😊😊
The smb theme sounds like the genesis mario knockoff
this rom is creepy
Fun fact: you can play b3313 0.7 on a real N64 now. (You need a fixed 0.7)
I’m new to the video but I saw something in the back of the vid I will keep watching to see if he goes there
Awesome
*familiar Mario 64 menu music starts*
Mario: yEAh
Twirl jump sound should have been YAHAA
@@legendgames128 if i understand what you both said it's why toad dose'nt give me star because i get the star from another place
@@tyos64 Roughly speaking, yes.
Minion base has an 100 coin star.
It does but the thing is that Minion Base and Grassy Highlands are both part of Course 13 and therefore both courses share the 100 coin star.
does going through the final door at the Haunted Castle Grounds with 145 stars do anything? i tried going back there after i beat Bowser 3 while having the missing HUD, but it just put me in an infinite animation loop, but i only had 71 stars when i went there
No, there is nothing after 145 stars.
@@VeloxusGaming You can actually get the Tall Tall Mountain star that you mention just by waiting until the time where the demo would normally play.
