Thank you so much for this. I'm from Finland and until 1917 they were the Grand Duchesses of Finland as well. To me, they still are.

We see images and hear sounds at different speeds....very slightly, but different. One is faster than the other .
But you have edited this video in such a way that they arrive to our senses at the same moment. The effect is amazingly powerful. Bravo!

    Great video thanks.
"23 steps down" it`s a book about the 23rd years of reign of the last representative of the Romanov dynasty. In fact there were 18 steps in the house of Ipatiev, which the Romanovs had passed before they were shot.

Short, sharp and most effective. A d
ramatic slant on a dreadful event.
    Thank you.

An altogether sad video, very emotive. It's hard to imagine how scared they may have been when they worked out what was going on. It's an awful thing to say but I suppose it's some consolation that they had one another!
p.s. Sorry to be so trivial butu which song have you used on this tribute?

The daughters of the last tsar of Russia; Olga, Tatiana, Maria, and Anastasia. They grew up in innocence, with their one brother Alexei who suffered from hemophilia, but when the Revolution struck in Russia the family was exiled. Taken to Tobolsk and later Ekaterinburg where they were all shot and killed. They were later canonized as Saints by the Russian Orthodox Church and as Holy Passion Bearers. Their Aunt Elizabeth was also killed, they day after they were and was canonized as a new saint for her religious life and her death. That's my crash course.
