I'm sorry for your bad experience - from the waiter - the wait time - then underdressed salad - and then the steak arrives in an untimely manor - to find out it is very sub-par. I bet they don't care much about the cuts of supposed prime cuts as they well more pub like fare than what is typical of a steak house. Well darn, but the big positive note of this video: You ! Always so polite and engaging, even when it wasn't reciprocal Too bad because the server could have learned a lesson in kindness from you had he not had such an attitude. Cheers to your next eats and thank you for the heads up on this joint LOL ! m.
The steak should come out precut if you're not allowed a knife 😂. Also, rude wait staff yet they want tips WOW. I would have asked for dressing on the side. Evidently, not a good place to have a steak house
Just can't expect anything good at the airport. I ate at Elway's in the city and had the ribeye with the bone and it was fully crusted med rare. Excellent.
The Elways steakhouse in south Denver is decent. Way better than the airport location. The staff was more friendly, the menu was bigger and the food was maybe a 7/10. With that said, there are way better steakhouses in Denver

timmy smith approves
Elway was 0 - 4 SB before his back to back so plenty of teams owned him
@@FeiLi-i9z 0-3 actually, but I get your drift.
o yea i’m sure the staff full of people that probably don’t give a shit about John Elway would totally respect your “own” 🤦🏾♂️😂
I fly once every other month for work and always have a connection either in Chicago, Minneapolis or Denver. Have for over three years now. I've learned to not bother with anything sit down and just stick with chain fast food. You will always be dissapointed with airport food. At least chains have a common standard.
Lol on the knife! I'm surprised they didn't give you the little packet with the spork, napkin, and salt & pepper.
Its cuz its an Airport.. Been to a couple Airport Steakhouses that are like this. No sharp knife for you!
I’ve been to Elways at Cherry Creek in Denver and the food and service was phenomenal. Unfortunately this was not your experience at the airport but if you are ever back into it is worth going back to just not the one at the airport
ITS JUST A SALAD DUDE DO YOU WANT IT OR NOT....
He got mad the guy 😂😂😂😂
This video just cracked me up 😂
Great video!
Have you done any reviews in Wisconsin?
Lesson learned: don't order a steak at an airport restaurant. That steak was prime, alright... a PRIME RIPOFF!
Hey UA, I'm glad you didn't order the "Rhode Island" Calamari (in Denver, ugh).
Great video!
Did not eat at Elways at the airport but did eat at Elways downtown. We all ordered the filet mignon and it was absolutely the best!
Damn a shrimp cocktail with only 3 large shrimp is $30😮
😂😂😂😂😂
$20 for an artichoke
$15 for creamed corn... That's the killer. Probably costs about $2 to make.
Great honest review
£16 for onion rings!!!!! Jeez, those onions had better been sent down from the heavens!
If you're in Denver, try the Buckhorn Exchange. No gimmicks. Just great food.
I swear we need to send a link to this to the restaurant's review page.
That waiter needs a serious talking to.
We are serious about our football and elway is the man of all men to us! So you go into an elways wearing eagles gear you’re definitely going to get rude services for disrespecting us! Luckily you were at an elways restaurant and not the wrong neighborhood! Either way love your videos and glad you came to Denver!! Hope you had a good time!
I feel like I deserve a refund just for watching that meal.
Keeping in context with other airport restaurants, it was great when I went there about five years ago.
"it's a salad....they are all different" LOL Sorry man that was bad service. The waiter is making tips, you would think he would do a better job. I live in Denver and never noticed that there was an Elways at the airport LOL. I am sure the real restaurant in Crerry Creek is better.
Thanks for the review.
You should do a video on Rocky Mountain oysters
They robbed him with that steak 😂😂😂
Dude rolls into an Elways rocking an Eagles hat love it
imagine paying 61.00 for a ribeye at an airport when you can get a better one at texas roadhouse for 25.00
Just can't expect anything good at the airport.
I fly through DIA a lot and I always have breakfast and a Bloody Mary there. Never had a bad experience in more than thirty trips through that airport.
$61.00 for tasteless meat not good! Probably not prime?
Pretty awesome Bradley Cooper was in your video. He must have saw your Eagles hat, lol
"Its just a salad"..... I would have stood up and left right there.
i mean he’s got a point. you can only make romaine lettuce and caesar dressing so good lol..
I haven't eaten at Elways at the airport but the one in Cherry Creek is excellent 👍
I would eat a Big Mac before going g there
A Big Mac at an airport would cost $20 and the eating area would be filthy! Drinks would cost $5 and fries $10!
@@3js312 Right. And it would still be way better, and better value than that 61 dollar slab of peppered leather.
There's a Palm's Steakhouse (The Palm Bar & Grille) at JFK Airport here in NY. I've never been to that particular location since I always go to AmEx's Centurion Lounge whenever I'm traveling out of JFK, but I'm thinking about trying it out since I have been to other locations and I do like their steaks.
Why is the price so expensive?
To be fair, steakhouses are expensive in general and it's also the airport
Bidenomics
@@seka1986I just recently took a look at all my receipts of my past steakhouse visits(yes I keep Restaurant receipts! lol), and Steaks have increased in price by almost 25% on average since 2018... Also, my Grocery bill is up 30% since 2018.... We desperately need change. How are we any different from 3rd world countries if people cant even afford to buy groceries....
@@seka1986you beat me to it
Longhorn Steakhouse is 15 minutes from the airport. It's a chain but the food is always spectacular for what's in my area here near the airport. Longhorn Steakhouse in Northglenn is the best Steakhouse however 40 minutes from DIA
